VIDEOS: Wrestling World Reacts To Latest WWE Releases
They don’t seem pleased. One of the biggest WWE stories over the last year and a half has been the string of releases. The company has released well over 100 wrestlers in the last eighteen months and that continued earlier this week. It was a story that has taken place several times now and just like the previous times, the wrestling world has a lot to say about the whole thing.
Earlier this week, WWE released another group of eight wrestlers, including the Hit Row faction, John Morrison, Shane Thorne, Tegan Nox, Drake Maverick and Jaxson Ryker. Since the releases have taken place, several wrestlers and wrestling personalities have reacted to the situation, with the majority of them expressing sympathy for the wrestlers and anger towards WWE.
Here are some of the better reactions, including from some of the released wrestlers:

Stop supporting a company that has ZERO respect for their talent. You love pro wrestling, spend your money on the hundreds of other alternatives. This is wrong. Ethically, as employers they don’t care about us. Talent or fans.

Opinion: There have been so many of these releases now that I don’t even know where to begin anymore. It feels like no one is safe in WWE and that is likely going to be the case for a long time to come. The free agent market keeps getting stronger and stronger and I’m curious to see where a lot of these people go. At the same time, I’m curious to see where this is leading for WWE, because this is a complete restructuring at this point.
What do you think of the releases? Where will everyone wind up? Let us know in the comments below.
