VIDEO: Top WWE Star Returns On Monday Night Raw In Surprising Action
Welcome home. Things are constantly moving in WWE and that was the case before everything went nuts in the last year and a half. Sometimes you will see a wrestler leave for no apparent reason, which opens up a variety of questions. In addition to finding out why they are gone, there is the matter of finding out what they are going to do once they get back. Now we know one of the two.
Randy Orton made his return to WWE television during this week’s Monday Night Raw. This week marked Orton’s first appearance in seven weeks, though he did not explain why he missed the time. Orton opened the show and got into an argument with AJ Styles, who he ultimately defeated in the show’s main event. After the match, Riddle, Orton’s unofficial tag partner, got in the ring to ask Orton for a hug. Orton eventually relented but then hit Riddle with an RKO to end the show, though commentary suggested that the team might not be done.
Orton and Riddle have been teaming together on and off for the last several months as RKBro. The main dynamite of their team is Riddle being incredibly enthusiastic while Orton wants very little to do with Riddle but putting up with him because the team works. It is currently unclear why Orton was out of action since his most recent Monday Night Raw appearance since June 14.

Opinion: I’m glad to see Orton back and I’m curious to see how things go with he and Riddle. You could have Orton go full on heel and destroy Orton’s dreams, but you could also see Orton give in to Riddle’s persistence and team with him full time. That being said, either match at Summerslam should go rather well as the story has been set up well either way.
