Updated WWE Money In The Bank Card; Lana Comments
Here is the up to date card for WWE Money In The Bank, which takes place Sunday, June 18th in St. Louis, MO (which, yes, is Randy Orton’s hometown).
- WWE Title Match
Jinder Mahal (c) vs. Randy Orton - Money In The Bank Ladder Match
AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Baron Corbin vs. Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler - SmackDown Tag Team Title Match
The Usos (c) vs. New Day - Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match
Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch vs. Natalya vs. Tamina vs. Carmella - SmackDown Women’s Title Match
Naomi (c) vs. Lana
The Women’s Title Match was added on last night’s SmackDown Live with Lana making her “re-debut” and costing Naomi the fall in a trios match. Lana would go on to comment on the opportunity later on Twitter.
I'm going to #LanaCrush ?@NaomiWWE at my championship match at #MITB then I'll CRUSH every woman on #SDLive that laughed at me tonight @WWE pic.twitter.com/gqJYMp27zb

That’s only five matches and while two of them are Money In The Bank ladder matches (which figure to get significant time), there will probably be other additions to the card. What those additions will be is anyone’s best guess. There was a dark match before SmackDown on Tuesday, an eight-man, with Aiden English, Erick Rowan and The Ascension taking on Tye Dillinger, Luke Harper and American Alpha. Harper, the hometown boy (he’s from Rochester), got the fall by pinning English.
The week before, the dark match saw Harper, Dillinger and Mojo Rawley go over English and the Ascension. So what I’m saying is that some sort of multi-person match, featuring the undercard performers, may be in the cards for MITB.
There is still no word on the return of Rusev, who was initially set to challenge for the WWE Title at this show. That was before the decision was made to go with Mahal as the champion.
