They’ll Meet Again: WWE Planning Grudge Match For Summerslam

They have a plan for that. WWE is less than a month away from Summerslam and that means the card is starting to come together. The company has a lot to do still, though some of the stories have already been set in motion. What matters is setting up the card in advance and making you want to see the show. That is the case with another match as WWE has planted some seeds.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is planning to have Riddle face Seth Rollins at Summerslam. This comes after the two have been attacking each other in recent weeks, including Riddle hitting Rollins with an RKO after Rollins defeated Ezekiel this week on Monday Night Raw. There is no word on when the match will be set up, though it will be their second singles match, following a match in February.

Opinion: This is the kind of match that you know is coming and it makes sense to have everything set up in advance. I could go for the two of them facing each other, as it would feel like a pretty big match. Riddle needs a win and hopefully that is where they go, as there is little for Rollins to do at the moment. Now just make the match work, which should go rather well given the talent involved.
