There’s A Market For It: WWE And E Discussing Possible Wrestling Reality Series

A different look. There are a lot of different wrestlers on any given roster, but some of them are even more unique as their significant other is also involved in the wrestling business. You do not see that happening very often, but it can make for a rather interesting subject. It might be interesting enough to take a special look at them, which is what WWE may be trying to do.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has been in talks with the E Network about a reality show based around wrestling couples. WWE is reportedly looking for “legitimate” wrestling couples, though it is not known who might be included in the series. There is also no word on if the series has been finalized, though WWE and E do have a history together with Total Divas and Total Bellas.

Opinion: I’ve heard of worse ideas and it is something that will appeal to some wrestling fans. At the same time the idea would appeal to fans of reality television, so this is something that could have some legs to it. Granted that is assuming the show is given a chance in the first place. Hopefully WWE doesn’t spend too much television time focusing on it, but that does tend to be their style.
