The Taz Show Recap – Safety in Sports, WWE Network’s Tiered System, Will McMahon Ever Sell WWE? More!
Block 1:
A listener calls into the show and asks Taz if he thinks we’ll ever see a point in time when WWE is owned and operated by anyone other than a McMahon. Taz thinks a McMahon will always be involved in WWE in one way or another. Between Shane’s children and Stephanie’s children, he thinks this company will stay in the family for a long time to come. He cannot imagine that company being owned and operated by anyone other than a McMahon.
Taz says that WWE is a family business, and The McMahon’s hold it very close to their hearts. Vince McMahon will probably be around for a while yet, but once he steps away Triple H and Stephanie are already being ushered in to continue the company’s growth in the years to come. Where the company goes from there is anyone’s guess, but Taz would be surprised if it ever truly leaves the McMahon family.
Taz mentions that a child was struck by a foul ball in an MLB game last night, and it was a terrifying sight. Several of the players went on the record after the game calling for netting to be installed down both sides of the baseball field and Taz thinks that’s a great idea. We’ve seen these types of incidents before, and MLB should be proactive to install some safety measures now before another incident occurs.
