The Taz Show Recap – RAW Analysis, Bullet Club Invades RAW, Cruiserweights in the Main Event, More!

Block 1:

Taz opens today’s show speaking about the final segment of Monday Night RAW from last night. Enzo Amore stood in the middle of the ring and roasted each cruiserweight one by one, as they all just stood on the stage taking the verbal jabs. Taz understands that WWE is trying to make this division feel important, but having all the other cruiserweights stand on the stage together made it feel like they are all ‘less than’ Amore.

He goes on to say that he enjoyed a lot of the verbal confrontation between Neville and Amore. Neville is over right now, and his terrific work as Cruiserweight Champion did a lot to add legitimacy to that Title. Amore is obviously very good on the mic, so the interaction between these two men makes for very interesting television.

Taz didn’t consider last night’s final segment to be a double turn with Amore and Neville. Amore is slowly turning into a heel for sure, but it’s been happening for weeks now. His attitude and boastful nature has slowly turned the fans against him, but the turn hasn’t been cemented just yet. Taz doesn’t think Neville’s character is going to change at all and if the fans start cheering him, that’s okay too.

Taz says that Mickie James is one of the most underrated performers on WWE’s roster right now, and her promo last night was terrific. Her and Alexa Bliss had a great in-ring segment, and he likes that WWE creative is implementing ‘shoot-style’ content into the Women’s division now as well.
