The Rock Talks WWE Debut; Natalya Confirmed For Team SmackDown

21 Years Since The Rock Debuted
Friday was the 21st anniversary of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s debut in the WWE. He wrestled that night at Madison Square Garden in a traditional Survivor Series match at Survivor Series 1996, which looking back at it was a tremendous card.
Obviously, that night set in motion lots of great things for Johnson. A legendary WWE career followed by a successful, on-going run in Hollywood that has made him one of the biggest movie stars in the world.
Looking back at his WWE debut, Johnson said:
2hrs before this PPV starts, Vince McMahon calls me in his office (I thought I was in trouble) he said, “You’re going over tonight”, meaning I was going to win. I was shocked. 3 months later my career crashed hard but that negative eventually became my positive. #grateful

Fifth Member of Team SmackDown Confirmed
While it was widely expected, WWE officially announced Natalya as the fifth member of the women’s Team SmackDown team on Saturday morning. There had still been some talk/rumors that Paige could be revealed as the fifth member of the team, but it turns out that will not be the case.
