That’s a big step. The rise of streaming technology has been a complete game changer for wrestling fans, as they now have access to more content and options than ever before. Several promotions run events throughout the country but it is always special to get to see one of them in person. Now one of the biggest promotions is adding a completely different kind of show.

AEW has announced an upcoming series of non-televised live events called House Rules. The events will air on select weekends, with the first taking place on March 11 in Troy, Ohio. This will be the second ever AEW live event, following The House Always Wins, an event held in Jacksonville, Florida in April 2021 which has never been released to the public. There is no word on how frequently House Rules events will take place.

Opinion: It’s about time AEW did something like this, as having more than just Dynamite and Rampage every week is a huge boost. This kind of show lets the wrestlers get in some more reps, while also allowing fans to see something they have not been able to see in person before. AEW has been teasing something like this for years so it should be nice to see what they can do with such a thing.
