Terrell returned in August and was scheduled to compete at Bound For Glory next month.
More “Reality” Television From WWE?
With the successes of Total Bellas and Total Divas on E!, it looks like WWE is planning to expand their footprint in the reality TV field. It’s being reported that the company is seeking to expand its reality series net as part of its partnership with Bunim-Murray Productions (the company that produces Divas/Bellas on E!).
As of now, it looks like there are two ideas being floated. One would be a reality show akin to Total Bellas, only staring Miz and Maryse. This show would follow their WWE exploits as well as their personal lives in Hollywood. It would apparently also feature their real-life friends like current WWE star Dolph Ziggler.
The other idea is for a competition show in the same vein as Tough Enough or the old Diva Search. It would focus on seeking out the next big WWE female star. The competitors would reportedly be on the road with the WWE main roster, have weekly challenges and eliminations, and the winner would get a WWE contract.
On a personal note about this competition idea, has WWE already forgotten what happened with the competitors from the latest round of Tough Enough? It never seems to end well for anyone involved.
