While speaking to The Agenda Podcast, former WWE writer Tom Casiello revealed that former WWE Diva Kaitlyn was originally pitched to be part of The Wyatt Family when the company brought them up to the main roster from NXT.

According to Casiello, Kaitlyn had nothing going on for her and there was a pitch to have her part of the stable. It’s believed that she would have been Sister Abigail if the plans went through, which they never did obviously. WWE ended up having Bray Wyatt portray Sister Abigail earlier this year as an alter ego.

Russo is joined on today’s show by his co-host Jeff Lane, Big Vito, and Kenny & Chris Bolin. On today’s show they’re going to share their thoughts on this past week’s episode of RAW & Smackdown Live.

Russo says that he was very dissapointed that WWE’s creative team ignored the fact that someone had to let The New Day into the building during last week’s episode of RAW. On this week’s show, he would have written the entire episode around the fact that there’s a mole on the inside who let those guys into the building the prior week. He thinks that would have been very captivating television, but WWE simply ignored it.

Russo saw no point of the in-ring promo segment between Miz, Sheamus and Cesaro on RAW. Lane agrees, saying that this was a filler segment. Bolin points out that he basically falls asleep anytime Sheamus speaks so he wasn’t captivated by this promo.

Bolin says that Jason Jordan has ‘Rocky Maivia’ heat right now, and the Atlanta fans were even thanking Bray Wyatt for hurting Jordan’s leg on RAW this week. It’s one thing for a Northeast crowd to act that way, but when a Southern crowd begins to turn on a babyface that heavily, you’re in real trouble.

NXT Superstar Sawyer Fulton announced on Twitter that he was released from WWE. He issued the following statement:

A new path is beginning to unfold and I'm excited to walk it!

Fulton signed with WWE back in 2012. He debuted on NXT television on May 2, 2013, where he appeared as an enhancement talent in a tag-team match against The Wyatt Family. In September of 2016, Fulton and Wolfe joined Sanity along with Eric Young and Nikki Cross.

WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley recently took part in an AMA session on Reddit to promote his new book Saint Mick and he answered questions about his wrestling career, who he would like to write a storyline for and who he thinks would have been a good feud in his prime. Check out the highlights below:

On his favorite foreign object:

“Chris Jericho hit me with a copy of my own book in 1999. He got the victory, because it was such a large volume – but I made a heckuva comeback. I told him he wanted more of me I would be at the bookstore and gave an address. It was the largest turnout I had ever had!”

On who he would like to write a storyline on:

“I would love to write something for Becky Lynch. I’ve mentioned before that I don’t think we’ve seen the best of her – and her ability to dig down deep for promos is still somewhat underutilized.”

How it was like to be the General Manager of RAW:

“I really enjoyed my time at GM. I could go into detail about little things I wish I could’ve done – but in the end I was fired in spectacular fashion, in a way that helped the company. That’s all you can really ask for when you sign-on is GM. Stephanie was great to Work with!”

On which superstar he could have a good feud with:

“In my prime, I think I could’ve had really good matches with any number of WWE superstars. I think he cactus/Owens match could’ve been great, or a mankind/bray Wyatt match could’ve had some amazing build up.”

Welcome to our coverage of WWE TLC 2017, a PPV that is sure to be as chaotic as it is surprising.

What a week it has been in WWE. A bout of viral meningitis made its way through the Raw locker room, and as such, Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns have been pulled from tonight’s PPV. That means two of the nights biggest matches are without their stars, however WWE quickly changed the line-up and got fans hella excited for what’s coming tonight.

First off, Bray Wyatt was pulled from the match against Finn Balor where he was to debut the Sister Abigail. Seeing as this was the third meeting between Balor and Wyatt, fans weren’t too upset when they heard that Bray was being replaced by none other than the face that runs the place, the man who built SmackDown Live, AJ Styles! This is something of a dream match for fans and it has the potential to be a match of the year candidate.

Roman Reigns was also pulled from tonight’s card, meaning the long-awaited Shield reunion is not going to happen tonight. This is genuinely very disappointing after the weeks of build and anticipation – probably the first time fans have ever been disappointed to hear Reigns is not on a show. WWE quickly announced that Reigns was to be replaced in the match and his replacement would be….Kurt Angle. OK, so first reaction is a heart-attack level of excitement, but once that wears off I think this is a terrible choice. Angle is a Hall of Famer, a legend, whose return to the ring should have been the result of a huge storyline that led to WrestleMania or a similarly big PPV. He shouldn’t have been thrown into a match simply because fans would be disappointed without the Shield reunion, WWE could have given this spot to Matt Hardy, an NXT guy like Aleister Black, or even throw cash at someone like Rob Van Dam to come back for one night and put on a show-stealer. Maybe I’m wrong but let me know what you guys think!

Aside from all of that madness, the rest of the TLC card is undisturbed, meaning we will still see Emma Vs. Asuka, Kalisto Vs. Enzo Amore, Alexa Bliss Vs. Mickie James, and a handful of kick-off segments. Honestly, aside from the two huge matches I talked about above, this card is fairly lacklustre, and it would have been even more-so if it didn’t suddenly feature AJ Styles. It was reported via WrestlingInc earlier today that WWE has been testing talents of the RAW roster for mumps. WWE responded to these reports and issued the following statement:

“We have confirmed that three of our performers have been diagnosed with a viral infection. As a precautionary measure, we are ensuring in-ring performers and staff are tested and immunized in accordance with recommended medical guidelines.”

Those three performers rumored to have been diagnosed are Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas. Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that the company found out about Wyatt & Reigns late in the week and came up with a plethora of replacement options, with Kurt Angle returning seemingly being the best one. Same for AJ vs. Finn.

Even though plans were changed and Finn Balor is no longer challenging Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at Survivor Series, he is still lobbying for the match to take place.

While speaking to metro.co.uk, Balor mentioned that he wants to go after Lesnar once his feud with Bray Wyatt comes to an end.

“Once I handle Bray Wyatt, I need to be going after the Universal Championship which I was never beaten for. Yes, Brock Lesnar is the current champion, but make sure you don’t forget that I relinquished the title due to injury, I was never beaten, and I definitely think that I deserve a title shot.”

Balor continued, “Right now, there’s a lot of interesting matches that could happen in WWE right now, but for me personally I think that Finn Balor vs Brock Lesnar is the most interesting match from a fans perspective that can happen right now. It’s something that has never happened before, with completely different styles inside and out of the ring. This could be a really big spectacle.”

Bischoff is joined on today’s show by his co-host Nick Hausman.

Bischoff opens today’s show by speaking about the tragedy that occurred in Las Vegas several days ago. As a parent, he can’t even begin to think about what it must have been like for parents who had children at that concert. He simply can’t comprehend this mindless act of violence, and he sends his prayers and best wishes to all the families involved.

He also points out that there were a lot of good people who showed the best side of humanity on that night, and we mustn’t forget about those individuals. Whether it be the volunteers on the ground who helped get injured people to hospitals or the police force who took down the shooter, they all deserve a tremendous amount of respect for the work they did that night.

Hausman mentions that Bray Wyatt may soon be debuting a ‘Sister Abigail’ alter-ego and he asks Bischoff for his opinion on that. Bischoff says that this type of character and storyline doesn’t interest him at all because it comes off as completely unbelievable. He was never a fan of ‘fantasy’ type characters but he also admits that’s only his taste.

As seen on Monday’s episode of RAW, Bray Wyatt teased the introduction of Sister Abigail to WWE programming during his promo to Finn Balor. Wyatt told Finn Balor in a video promo that Abigail is alive.

“Abigail is alive,” Wyatt told Balor. “She is dying to meet you.”

Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that the current plan isn’t for Sister Abigail to be introduced as a female competitor in the company. The idea is that “Sister Abigail” will be the alter ego of Bray Wyatt — similar to what The Demon is for Finn Balor.

Bray is slated to debut the ego in his match against Finn Balor at the upcoming TLC event.
