New WWE 2K18 Screenshots

Thursday morning saw the first screenshots of WWE 2K18. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the first couple screenshots were of the man on the cover of the upcoming video game: Seth Rollins. The first screenshot has Rollins wearing his black “Seth Freakin’ Rollins” shirt in what may be during his entrance to the ring. The second Rollins screenshot has him shirtless in the ring. The 2K team handling the next WWE game released a video describing how they created the “new look” of WWE 2K18.

A special limited edition John Cena “Cena (Nuff)” version of the game is available via preorder with special additions of Cena’s WWE gimmicks, Batista, Rob Van Dam, Kurt Angle, and extra merchandise.

2K18 will be released on October 17 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game will be available for the Nintendo Switch but its release date was not confirmed yet.

New NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III Match Confirmed

Following yesterday’s NXT broadcast, which featured an in-ring and post-show altercation between Hideo Itami and Aleister Black, it was announced that the two NXT superstars will have a match against each other at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III.

The August 2^nd episode of NXT also revealed the inevitable Sanity (Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain) vs. NXT Tag Team Champions Authors of Pain for the Brooklyn special.

NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III takes place on Saturday, August 19, from Brooklyn’s Barclay’s Center. The show starts live at 8 p.m. EDT on the WWE Network.

Paige Responds To El Patron Domestic Violence Incident

As we reported earlier today, Alberto El Patron was involved in a domestic violence incident at Orlando’s airport Sunday afternoon. After speculation that the woman involved was Paige, the WWE star took to Twitter to address the situation.

WE got the cops involved. I’m crying cuz I found out bad fam news & a lady tries take a pic. She gets angry throws a drink on @PrideOfMexico. Please leave us alone. That’s it.

So, at least according to Paige, she was not involved in the incident. We will have more on this situation as it develops.

WWE2K18 For Switch Announcement

WWE announced today that WWE2K18 is coming to Nintendo’s Switch.

2K today announced that WWE 2K18, the forthcoming release in the flagship WWE video game franchise, will be released on Nintendo Switch this fall. The news marks the first time in five years that a WWE video game will be available on a Nintendo platform.

In celebration of the game’s highly-anticipated debut on Nintendo Switch, WWE 2K18 cover Superstar Seth Rollins appeared in a special video announcing the series’ return to Nintendo platforms.

Along with the other platform versions available of WWE 2K18, the Nintendo Switch version of the game will include several new features, including:

* A new MyCAREER experience;
* Updated Customization Suite;
* The largest roster in WWE games history!

Developed collaboratively by Yuke’s and Visual Concepts, a 2K studio, WWE 2K18 is not yet rated by the ESRB. WWE 2K18 is scheduled for worldwide release on October 17, 2017 for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, with Early Access players receiving their copies and in-game bonuses beginning four days early on October 13, 2017.
