Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of ‘The Wrestling Observer Newsletter‘ that ”The Architect” Seth Rollins may be out of in-ring action for around 8 weeks after tearing his ACL during his segment with ”The Destroyer” Samoa Joe on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. It seems that it is possible for Rollins to make the show, where he is scheduled to face ”The Cerebral Assassin” Triple H.

The following match card for WrestleMania 33 is assuming the fact that Rollins will be able to compete at the event. If the 10-match card below stands, there wouldn’t be much room for many more matches as WrestleMania usually has around 8-11 matches in total including the kick-off show.

WrestleMania 32 had 11 matches in total (minus the impromptu 11-second bout b/w The Rock and Eric Rowan), with 3 of those being on the pre-show, while WrestleMania 31 had 9 total bouts and WrestleMania XXX only had 8.

Brock Lesnar and Kevin Owens have never crossed ever since the Beast has returned to WWE. They were booked on the same house show in Japan named ”Beast in the East” sometime ago but to everyone’s disappointment they weren’t booked against one another. In 2016, Kevin Owens captured the Universal Championship after Summerslam and carried on with his Universal title reign, while Lesnar is dealing with Goldberg at the moment.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that current plans do not have current WWE Champion ”The Phenomenal” AJ Styles and current WWE Universal Champion ”Mr Wrestling” Kevin Owens going into WrestleMania 33 as champions.

Styles is set to defend the WWE Championship against ”The Face that Runs The Place” John Cena this Sunday in San Antonio while Owens is booked to defend against ”The Big Dog” Roman Reigns.

It was announced by SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon on WWE Smackdown Live, that the WWE Championship will be defended at February’s SD Live’s exclusive Elimination Chamber PPV, inside the Chamber while the RAW brand has the FastLane PPV in February.

The Observer adds that the WrestleMania 33 match card shapes up at this moment like:

– ”The Icon” Goldberg vs. ”The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar,

– ”The Game” Triple H vs. ”The Man” Seth Rollins,

– ”Mr Wrestling” Kevin Owens vs. ”Y2J” Chris Jericho,

There are rumors on Orton winning the Traditional 30-Man Royal Rumble match this Sunday and Bray winning the Chamber match, setting up their bout for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, FL. The Observer notes that if that does not happen, it’s because plans changed.

WWE NXT Superstar ”The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe is expected to be called up soon with a big push and Joe versus Cena at WrestleMania 33 has been pitched. There have also been rumors of AJ Styles facing Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 33.

A 6-Women Tag Team Match was announced on WWE Smackdown Live episode tonight.

Nikki Bella, Naomi and Becky Lynch will face Mickie James, Natalya and SmackDown Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss this Sunday at the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view which will air LIVE on the WWE Network from The Alamodome in San Antonio, TX.

Well there are many such examples that shows WWE trying to promote someone who is not a legit fan favorite all the time or most of the times.
The question here is that why can’t the company speak out the truth and show us the reality what it is (not only in Live but recorded episodes also).

Following this the odds have turned against the past favorites Brock Lesnar and Bill Goldberg.

According to Forbes, many fans believe that The Undertaker will claim the win this year. Late last year, some outlets only believed he had a 4.8 percent chance of winning. But since Monday’s big bomb on WWE Raw, The Undertaker’s odds of winning have risen to 54 percent according to some.

Now some rarest of the rare people do believe that Roman Reigns can emerge victorious at Royal Rumble against Kevin Owens while some say that Kevin Owens retaining can set up  a match between KO and Finn Balor if Finn makes his return at the rumble.

Also speculations coming out that if The Undertaker wins the over the top rope battle than he can go onto face John Cena at Wrestlemania after he wins the gold from AJ Styles. While ‘The Phenomenal One’ can be set up in  a feud with the fan favorite heel Samoa Joe.

Now even if AJ Styles retains at Royal Rumble and continue to go on till Wrestlemania this year as the WWE Champion it can easily set up a match between him and The Undertaker.

Among the other favorites are Braun Strowman, Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose and even The Miz.

Royal Rumble 2017 will take place at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on Jan. 29.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, John Cena vs. Undertaker match that was planned for WrestleMania 33 has been scrapped due to Vince McMahon changing his mind about the idea.

It was said Vince changed his mind about what was originally one of the marquee matches for WrestleMania, but the plans for the event will become more clear after the Royal Rumble PPV. There has been plenty of rumors about Undertaker challenging for a World Championship at Mania, but there are no plans for him regarding this.

When The Phenom returned on WWE Smackdown Live at #SDLive900, the plan was to build to a match around Cena, but with him now appearing on RAW this past week in New Orleans, he’ll likely face someone on that roster. The tease of Braun Strowman being the opponent was seen on TV, but Strowman is not the opponent in mind at this time.

– Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg,
– Triple H vs Seth Rollins and
– Big Show vs Shaquille O’Neal are the key matches, with

– Chris Jericho vs Kevin Owens, and
– Charlotte defending the RAW Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania 33 is the current plan, but the expected singles match against Bayley is not the match penciled in at the moment. The match proposed would see Charlotte defend in a Fatal-4-Way against Bayley, Nia Jax and Sasha Banks.
