The cart was not shown on TV as each Superstar began their entrance by running to the ring.

Then, the camera cut right back to the ring to allow for the Superstar to ride the cart the rest of the way.

This royal rumble proved vital for the Wyatt family as Randy & Bray were among the last three competitors left in that ring along with Reigns. After Reigns eliminated Bray Wyatt, Randy got the better of Roman as he converted a spear into an RKO #OuttaNowhere

Before this, The Undertaker eliminated Goldberg who eliminated Lesnar in a similar dominating fashion close enough to him defeating Lesnar at Survivor Series. The Undertaker was unfortunately eliminated by Roman Reigns.

Will it be Randy vs Cena or some other swerve, keep guessing.

Now John Cena is tied up with Ric Flair’s record. Now what is interesting is to see who is going to be Cena’s next opponent. Will it be AJ Styles at Elimination in a 2-out-of-3 falls match, only time can tell.

According to The Sun, WWE recently reached out to UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and presented him a huge offer, which the Superstar refused.

A source told The Sun, “WWE has made no secret of its desire to do something with Conor McGregor and there were talks between the two parties about this year”. “Because he’s taking time off from the UFC, there was a talk about doing something at this year’s Wrestlemania in April, but it wasn’t to be despite a hefty offer.”

”The Game” Triple H admitted on public record that he would be interested in having McGregor make some WWE appearances when he attended UFC 205 last November at The Garden.

“He [McGregor] could come over, he’s got it all, man – he’s got the personality, the skills, the talk. He’s an entertainer, for sure,” HHH told The Telegraph. “What does he walk around at? 180lbs? I have smaller guys now in the WWE. We have 200lb guys who are stars. You don’t need to be 300lbs any more.”

“He could do just as well as Floyd Mayweather when he fought the Big Show. That really worked. Conor could do it for sure.”

Conor McGregor pushed the buttons of many professional wrestlers when he ripped the business in August 2016 while promoting UFC 202, where he emerged victorious over Nate Diaz in the marquee bout of the night.

He said that some WWE guys are not right in the head, and that the ”new era stars” are “dweebs.” He added that the old school guys – like ”The Nature Boy” Ric Flair – are legends and called the McMahons “Dons.”

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that current plans do not have current WWE Champion ”The Phenomenal” AJ Styles and current WWE Universal Champion ”Mr Wrestling” Kevin Owens going into WrestleMania 33 as champions.

Styles is set to defend the WWE Championship against ”The Face that Runs The Place” John Cena this Sunday in San Antonio while Owens is booked to defend against ”The Big Dog” Roman Reigns.

It was announced by SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon on WWE Smackdown Live, that the WWE Championship will be defended at February’s SD Live’s exclusive Elimination Chamber PPV, inside the Chamber while the RAW brand has the FastLane PPV in February.

For the last few months or so NXT, the developmental brand of WWE, has been experiencing somewhat of a lull per se. Ever since the brand extension, the brand named ”NXT” has not been living  up to the standards it has set in the past.

Surprisingly, ”The Game” Triple H recently admitted in a media call that he is unhappy with the current state of NXT.

While the brand split has done wonders for both WWE SmackDown Live (to a great extent) and WWE Raw (not so much), it has left the developmental brand of WWE hanging out to dry. With the recent call-ups with the likes of Finn Balor, Bayley, Alexa Bliss; NXT is left with a void that has become difficult for the officials and talents to fill.

Triple H recently participated in a media call prior to NXT TakeOver: San Antonio. He admitted publicly that he was not happy with the current state of NXT.

During the call, Triple H was also quoted as saying:

“I’m not happy with where it is right now by far. I want it to be much better than it is, but it’s a rebuilding process. All these things going on, they all make changes in the ecosystem. Where everything lands at the end of the day is a moving target”

Triple H also said that they were currently in a rebuilding stage for NXT and mentioned that they were targeting for some changes to the show:

“There are some things and some changes that I’m hopeful will happen sooner than later that will expand it and make the show better”

With the Royal Rumble this Sunday, one has to wonder what state NXT will be in after the PPV. It is possible that some of the talents from NXT might get a call-up to the main roster and those talents might be surprise entrants in the Rumble Match.

This Saturday, WWE NXT TakeOver: San Antonio event will air live on the WWE Network headlined by ”The Glorious” Bobby Roode challenging ”The King of Strong Style” Shinsuke Nakamura for the biggest prize in the NXT Universe, the NXT Heavyweight Title.

While ”The Empress of Tomorrow” Asuka will face three challengers and try to retain her spot atop the NXT Women’s Division.

‘The Royal Rumble is not going to happen, A lot of people are assuming it, a lot of writers are writing about it,’ Angle told TMZ Sport.

‘I haven’t talked to WWE about anything after the WWE Hall of Fame. I’m sure they’re going to want to do something eventually,

‘I’m not sure if it’s wrestling- related or not, but I would imagine that I would be attached to WWE most likely for the rest of my life.

‘There aren’t any clues or anything that led me to that, I just believe that this is the start our our new relationship and we’re only focusing on the Hall of Fame.’
Is this just another case of providing a swerve to the royal rumble or Kurt is really serious about this. Kurt is also scheduled to face Alberto Del Rio at WCPW next month.

If this is confirmed than Angle being in the rumble looks very much uncertain.

A 6-Women Tag Team Match was announced on WWE Smackdown Live episode tonight.

Nikki Bella, Naomi and Becky Lynch will face Mickie James, Natalya and SmackDown Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss this Sunday at the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view which will air LIVE on the WWE Network from The Alamodome in San Antonio, TX.
