Welcome to our coverage of tonight’s Monday Night Raw!

On tonight’s show, Roman Reigns is out for revenge after the return of The Miz and their subsequent attack on him. Reigns was beaten-down badly last week and The Miz made it clear that he is back and wants his Intercontinental Championship. Reigns will no doubt have something to say about this on tonight’s show.

Interestingly, we have three injured Superstars but we’re unsure of just how injured they are and what will happen with them. Paige received an injury at a house-show and now is seemingly banned from ever competing again in a WWE ring. This is incredibly crappy news for Paige but hopefully we get some sort of news tonight, it’s not as though WWE can keep on her on TV as Absolution’s leader and not explain why she isn’t wrestling. Another injured star is Jason Jordan, another partner of Seth Rollins. First Ambrose and now Jordan, it seems the latter may be out of action for a little while and thus he and Rollins might have to forfeit the Tag Titles. The Shield can’t seem to catch a break. And finally, Samoa Joe reportedly received an injury on last week’s show but we haven’t received word on how serious the injury is. Joe looks to be heading to the Royal Rumble and a potential showdown with John Cena, so let’s hope that’s not in jeopardy.

In other, less depressing news, we should get the fallout from Braun Strowman’s latest monstrous attack on Lesnar and Kane. Strowman pulled a huge lighting rig down on top of Kane and Lesnar, which surely writes the Champion off of TV, perhaps even until the Rumble. Will Kurt Angle reprimand the Monster Among Men or will he continue to wreak havoc without any punishment? Hopefully the latter.

Welcome to Monday Night Raw and 2018!

That’s right, tonight is the first Raw of the year and that means from here onwards we have to hear Michael Cole say “Welcome to the road to WrestleMania!” Alas, Cole is indeed correct, WrestleMania is officially in the headlights and we’re less than a month away from the always-exciting Royal Rumble. Which will also feature the first ever woman’s Royal Rumble match, so this year’s event will be even more awesome and tonight should see the first real push towards the event, as evidenced by John Cena announcing his participation on Twitter today. I expect entrants announcing their participation, as well as, I hope, qualification matches!

The big thing heading into tonight’s Raw is the return of the WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar! Old Bork Lazer will face Braun Strowman and Kane at the Royal Rumble and last time we seen Lesnar he levelled Kane with an F5. Lesnar and Heyman will emerge tonight with an unclear purpose but chances are Kane will be out for revenge and Strowman is always hunting for new victims. So expect fireworks!

Elsewhere on tonight’s Raw, Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins are Tag Team Champions! Who would have guessed that? These two are an odd-ball team but it gives Rollins something to do while the Shield reunion is completely scattered. I’m not even sure The Shield is even a thing right now, I mean Ambrose is long gone and Reigns is embroiled in a feud with Joe. WWE are in a pickle with the group, but it would be incredibly anti-climatic to break them apart again. I would like them to bring Ambrose back to TV as soon as he’s out of surgery, much like with Steve Austin after he broke his neck. That way he can still be on TV and The Shield will be relevant, even though Dean cannot wrestle.

I’ve rambled a bit, but tonight’s show will also feature Cedric Alexander Vs. Enzo Amore for the Cruiserweight Championship, Asuka battles Alexa Bliss in a non-title match, and Roman Reigns defends the Intercontinental Championship against Joe. Welcome to the merriest episode of Monday Night Raw ever! And we hope you’re having a great Christmas!

Tonight’s festive Raw will feature the return of the 16-time WWE World Champion, John Cena. It’s unclear if Cena is back for an extended period of time, or if this is a simple one-off appearance, but either way it ill be fun to see Cena back in a Raw ring.

The Royal Rumble is less than a month away and last week we got the historic announcement that there would be a women’s Rumble match in 2018! Now that we’ve got the two matches set, it’s time to start getting entrants. Personally I think entering a Rumble should be earned and something fought for, not just assumed. Like qualifying matches etc., whereas there’s little build-up because we all know Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Bray Wyatt will be there. Regardless, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Cena announce his appearance in the upcoming Rumble match, which he’s currently a favourite to win.

Elsewhere on tonight’s Raw, The Bar battle Rollins and Ambrose for momentum, again, and Braun Strowman continues to butt-heads with Kane ahead of their huge match with Brock Lesnar. WWE heads to the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ for tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live. Here are the highlights from tonight’s show:

Daniel Bryan opens the show talking about the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Bryan talks about the main event of tonight’s show before Shane McMahon comes out. Shane talks about what transpired at Sunday’s WWE Clash of Champions where Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn one their match with the assist from Daniel Bryan. Bryan said he did it to protect Shane from himself. Bryan and Shane talk about the vision for the SmackDown brand. Bryan says if he has a problem, he can fire him. Bryan says he doesn’t want Shane to turn into Vince McMahon. Shane says he turns Bryan before telling him “Good luck with the show tonight.”

Charlotte in-ring promo. She talks about her win at WWE Clash of the Champions and the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match. Charlotte says she will be waiting to defend her championship to whomever wins the Women’s Royal Rumble. Naomi comes out and announces herself as the first women in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. The new NXT rookies come out and Naomi calls them “chicken heads.”

Naomi & Charlotte defeated Sarah Logan & Ruby Riott.

Backstage segment with The New Day, Rusev Claus and Aiden English. Rusev Claus puts everyone on the naughty list before a challenge is issued. The New Day accepts.

It’s that time of week again, welcome to our coverage of Monday Night Raw for December 11 2017!

Tonight’s show is to be headlined by a monstrous showdown between Kane and Braun Strowman. These two behemoths will finally have a proper match, with the winner moving on to face Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble in January. This match should be fairly short but inevitably hectic and fun, even though a Strowman win seems inevitable.

The Bar and The Shield are set to collide many times in the following weeks, but tonight, each member of the two teams will face-off in singles competition. Tonight, Roman Reigns will face Cesaro, Dean Ambrose will tackle Samoa Joe, and Rollins will take-on Sheamus. Those are three huge matches, each of which will hopefully receive ample time to breathe and play out. This comes a week after The Shield failed to recapture the Tag Titles, largely thanks to Samoa Joe, who has it out for Reigns!

Elsewhere on tonight’s Raw, Matt Hardy has been WOKEN and he will again collide with Bray Wyatt, meanwhile Absolution will continue their wreaking of havoc, but will they again leave Asuka alone? All that and more on tonight’s show, so get ready and enjoy!

WWE heads to the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina for tonight’s WWE Starrcade event. Here are the results from the show courtesy of Cassidy Haynes of BodySlam.net:

* The arena was asked use to vote for a match at Starrcade and everyone cheered and voted for Sting and Ric Flair however ended up getting Lex Luger and Flair. The match got booed out the building.

* Our correspondent sent word that the place is packed for being a “house show.”

* Starrcade video package opens the show.

* Bobby Roode vs. Dolph Ziggler. Roode comes out first, followed by Ziggler. Arn Anderson is the special enforcer for this match. Ziggler takes out AA after trying to take away a chair. Roode gets the victory after a spinbuster and an assist from Arn.

* Breezango, Tye Dillinger, The Ascension, Sin Cara vs. Rusev, Mike Kanellis, The Colons, The Bludgeon Brothers. The Bludgeon brothers get the victory for their team after they perform their finisher on Dillinger. After the match, Kanellis got the finisher as well from the Bludgeon Brothers.

* Naomi vs. Tamina. Lana is out with Tamina. Some fans in one section attempt a CM Punk chant. Naomi gets the victory.

* Tribute to Dusty Rhodes is shown.

Welcome to the fastest hour on television, 205 Live!

Enzo Amore is still the WWE Cruiserweight Champion, after defeating Kalisto for a final time on the Survivor Series Kick-Off Show. With that win, Enzo has finally put to bed the feud with Kalisto, something we’ll all be pretty happy about, and now he moves on to a new challenger. Who will step-up though? Cedric Alexander? Rich Swann? Mustafa Ali? It seems likely to be one of these guys, unless of course we get a surprise return.

Drew Gulak and Akira Tozawa will do battle tonight to put a nail in their feud. For weeks Gulak has been boring the WWE Universe with his presentation slides and his new determination to stop all chanting. Well, naturally this got under the skin of Akira Tozawa, whose main method of communication is a chant. The two have traded barbs and blows as of late and tonight things shall be settled in a Street Fight.

Welcome to NXT TakeOver: WarGames, where titles will be won and dominance will be established.

Seventeen years after the last WarGames match, NXT is bringing back the dormant structure to separate the men from the boys. The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly) arrived in NXT at the last TakeOver and have steamrolled over the brand ever since. Sanity has had a mixed time in NXT but stepped to a new level when they dethroned the seemingly unstoppable Authors of Pain at TakeOver Brooklyn III. Speaking of the AOP, the two behemoths have been on a mission since losing the titles and now they have Roderick Strong by their side as they aim to avenge their loss and reestablish themselves as the very best around. All three teams have something to prove and a lot to gain from a win in tonight’s historic match, but who walks out with the bragging rights? My guess would be The Undisputed Era thanks to a Roderick Strong heel turn, after all, they’re all Ring of Honor buddies. Let us know what you think!

The NXT Women’s Championship is vacant for the first time since it was won by Paige in 2013. The long-cast shadow of Asuka has been lifted from the division and now four women step into the ring tonight to decide a new Women’s Champion. Peyton Royce, Kairi Sane, Ember Moon, and Nikki Cross will battle it out to determine a new Champion, in what is sure to be a high-octane match. Kairi Sane is the obvious choice for the winner of tonight’s match, as she looks to build on her momentum from winning The Mae Young Classic, but I could see Peyton Royce stealing a win and beginning a long run as heel Champ. What do you think?

Our other Championship match will see Drew McIntyre defend his NXT Championship for the first time on a TakeOver. McIntyre will face the ever-resilient and impressive Andrade Cien Almas, who looks to win his first gold in NXT. Almas has had a lengthy journey in NXT as he was brought in as a white-meat babyface but the fans just didn’t care about him. Since then Almas has turned his entire career around and strung together a series of truly phenomenal matches, which has led him to a match for the big one. Sadly for Almas, I think he’s just a notch in the belt of Drew McIntyre, who is sure to move on to a much bigger feud, perhaps with Adam Cole, Lars Sullivan, or Alesiter Black.

Speaking of Black, the man from Amsterdam has been a huge fan favourite since joining NXT a year ago. He’s had some great matches but never looked truly tested. A few months ago if you’d told me that his next big test would be The Velveteen Dream, I probably wouldn’t have believed you. That’s not a knock against Dream, that’s just to say that he isn’t a typical opponent for the hard-hitting, technical Black. In regards to Dream though, I’ve wanted to see Patrick Clark (Dream’s real name) achieve success in WWE ever since he appeared on the 2015, where he proved himself to be a smart young man with a humble upbringing and incredible passion for the business. I don’t expect him to toppled Black tonight but this is a huge stepping-stone on his WWE journey.

The only other match on tonight’s show is Kassius Ohno Vs. Lars Sullivan, which is a huge test for the latter. It’s great to see Ohno back on a TakeOver card, given his relative obscurity since returning to NXT, however this match is to be a showcase for the freak of nature that is Lars Sullivan. The giant man is fun to watch as he absolutely crushes his opponents but tonight he faces a man as big as himself and I think we’re in for a real great show, albeit a short one. Tonight’s 205 Live is set to feature a birthday celebration for the former Cruiserweight Champion, Kalisto! It seems unlikely the celebration will go undisturbed by the current Champion, Enzo Amore. The two will go head-to-head on Sunday night for the gold at Survivor Series, so both men will look to leave tonight with momentum.

Beyond that, Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann will reportedly respond to Jack Gallagher and Brian Kendrick as this rivalry continues on.
