Two nights ago and WWE No Mercy, Enzo Amore defeated Neville to become the Cruiserweight Champion. There’s a sentence I never wanted to write. Yes, Enzo defeated Neville, albeit via a low blow, and he is the new King of the Cruiserweights.

Last night on Raw, Enzo Amore demanded a celebration of his big win, in which he wanted to retire his jersey. Then all of the cruiserweights came onto the stage and one-by-one Enzo insulted each of them, in very heel-like fashion. The former Champion, Neville, then came out and told Enzo some harsh truths: that nobody liked him, that he can’t wrestle, that the division regrets giving him a chance, and that he, on behalf of the division, will end him. Neville proceeded to come down to the ring and destroy Enzo – apparently eliminating himself from a title rematch. After Raw went off the air, Braun Strowman came down and further demolished Enzo by landing a running powerslam, and is if that wasn’t enough, the rest of the cruiserweights came down and beat on Enzo, hitting their finishers in the process. It was a really great segment if you really dislike Enzo Amore.

So, tonight, the Champion will get a chance to respond to the entire division and we should find out if Enzo is now a full heel. Also, who is the number one contender now that Neville is out of the running? Cedric Alexander? Rich Swann? Hopefully we get an idea tonight. Jeff Hardy Working Hurt?

Last night at RAW’s Sacramento house show, Matt Hardy went solo in his match against Karl Anderson. This could because his brother Jeff is working hurt. It’s being reported that Jeff is dealing with a significant shoulder injury that could require surgery.

It’s unknown when the injury happened, and what Jeff will end up doing, so we’ll keep everyone updated on his injury as more information comes to light.

Updated No Mercy Betting Odds

WWE No Mercy is a little over 24 hours away, and the betting odds are changing and shifting as the event draws closer. Unlike earlier in the week, clear favorites are apparent now, with Brock Lesnar heavily favored to retain his WWE Universal Title. Roman Reigns is favored to defeat John Cena, and the RAW Tag Team Champions are odds on favorites to retain their titles.

Just a reminder, the minus indicates the favorite and the plus is for the underdog. The number after the plus or minus tells us how favored or unfavored the competitors are.

Following the Labor Day edition of WWE Monday Night RAW, we have several new matches for the RAW brand’s No Mercy pay per view. During Monday night, Sasha Banks and RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss competed in a tag-team match against Nia Jax and Emma, and if the latter two women win, then we’ll see a Fatal Four-Way Match at No Mercy. Emma and Jax were victorious and we won’t need to see Bliss vs. Banks for a while.

Bray Wyatt issued another challenge to Finn Bálor, who attacked the Irishman last week during the over-the-top-rope battle royal. No word yet if Bálor will compete with or without the Demon paint.

As expected, RAW Tag Team Champions Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins will defend their titles in a rematch against Cesaro and Sheamus.
