Wrestle Mania41 में कोडी रोड्स को हराकर जॉन सीना ने 17वीं बार वर्ल्ड चैंपियन बनकर इतिहास रच दिया और खुद को “आखिरी सच्चा चैंपियन” करार दिया। ट्रिपल एच ने ऐलान किया है कि सीना 24 मई को ताम्पा में ‘सैटरडे नाइट्स मेन इवेंट’ में नजर आएंगे। इससे पहले वह बैकलैश में रैंडी ऑर्टन के खिलाफ अपना टाइटल डिफेंड करेंगे।

जॉन सीना एक बार फिर फ्लोरिडा के ताम्पा लौट रहे हैं। Wrestle Mania 41 में उन्होंने कोडी रोड्स को हराकर रिकॉर्ड 17वीं बार वर्ल्ड चैंपियनशिप अपने नाम की। इस बड़ी जीत के बाद सीना ने खुद को “आखिरी सच्चा वर्ल्ड चैंपियन” कहना शुरू कर दिया और ऐलान किया कि वे 2025 के अंत में चैंपियन रहते हुए रिटायर होंगे। WrestleMania के बाद रॉ में उन्होंने बताया कि वे WWE में कुल 36 शोज़ के लिए लौटे हैं, जिनमें से 27 अब भी बाकी हैं। हालांकि इन तारीखों का खुलासा नहीं हुआ है, लेकिन उनकी एक और अपकमिंग अपीयरेंस अब कन्फर्म हो चुकी है।

इससे पहले 10 मई को, जॉन सीना बैकलैश 2025 में रैंडी ऑर्टन के खिलाफ अपनी अनडिस्प्यूटेड WWE चैंपियनशिप का बचाव करने उतरेंगे। रेसलमेनिया के बाद की रॉ में चैंपियन बनने के बाद सीना पहली बार दर्शकों के सामने आए और उन्होंने एक बार फिर दोहराया कि वे चैंपियन के तौर पर ही रिटायर होंगे। उन्होंने प्रो रेसलिंग की दुनिया को बदलने की बात भी कही — लेकिन तभी रैंडी ऑर्टन ने उन पर पीछे से हमला कर दिया। इसके बाद स्मैकडाउन में दोनों की तीखी बहस देखने को मिली और ऑर्टन ने एक बार फिर RKO दे दिया। इन घटनाओं के बाद बैकलैश में होने वाले मुकाबले की पुष्टि हो गई।

There is no question that NXT produces some sheer talent which marks the entry for the superstar in the main roster sometime real soon. Many superstars like Neville, Balor, Joe and many more have made it big in the main roster after their name in the mainstream. However, people also believe that when these talents who are nurtured in NXT by Triple H when brought up to main roster are almost given nothing to very less to work upon and injustice is done to their talent it will not be wrong to say that a spot in the main roster is a big thing in itself.

One person who has it all but still is awaited to debut in the main roster in Tye Dillinger “the perfect 10”. Remember when Dustin Rhodes said that Tye Dillinger has everything and has learnt it all that is required to be a main roster superstar, due to some reasons WWE has forgotten those words.

When Dillinger entered at #10 in the royal rumble, people and whole NXT camp were on their feet and felt proud of the guy but that is not certainly marking any hints of Dillinger being on RAW/SD Live. Also not to forget the crowd was deeply disappointed when he got eliminated which could be easily made out from their boos.
Triple H tweeted out about Tye Dillinger after his in-ring performance.

WWE Rumors: Finn Balor set to Return at the Royal Rumble?

It looks like the rumors regarding ”The Demon King” Finn Balor’s return at Royal Rumble might be true. As per PWInsider, Balor is set to undergo medical examinations in the next 48 hours and the results will decide Balor’s fate ahead for the Royal Rumble PPV in San Antonio.

Former and the first ever WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor has been out of action with a shoulder injury. He won the championship at ”The Biggest Party of the Summer” WWE SummerSlam PPV after defeating ”The Man” Seth Rollins in a hard fought bout.

The next night on Raw, Balor relinquished his title due to the shoulder injury that he had suffered during the match. The injury appeared to have occurred during the midst of the match when Seth nailed Balor with a ”Buckle Bomb” on the crowd barricade at ringside.

In the last month, Finn has been making quite a few appearances in WWE’s media events and other promotional events. Finn added fuel to that fire by hinting at possible return through social media accounts.

Due to Finn’s antics, people have become obsessed with the fact that whether he’ll return this Sunday at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX.

And, it appears as if the question will be answered very soon.

Finn Balor posted the video of himself doing a set of 30 restriction TRX curls, as seen below. Balor has been out of action since suffering a shoulder injury during his SummerSlam match with Seth Rollins last August.

WWE will try to keep the status of Finn Balor’s actual condition a secret. If he clears the examination, he will probably enter the Rumble as one of its surprise entrants.

If Finn indeed returns, we can very well expect him to win the Rumble and go on to headline WrestleMania 33.

“Broken” Matt Hardy And Brother Nero to sign with WWE?

These are the words that have echoed in uncountable wrestling arenas from the time Matt Hardy or Broken Matt made them famous. Now that Matt Hardy is in best part of his career as a second run in the world of pro wrestling, WWE must be looking to sign Broken Matt. As per the rumors going around, WWE is very much interested in signing Matt & Jeff Hardy both back to the company. Broken Matt and Brother Nero’s contract expires next month with TNA.

On Monday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer weighed in on the possibility of Jeff and Matt Hardy returning to WWE, and what it’ll take to bring them back.

“For Matt, I don’t see him going to WWE. The odds are better now than they were a couple months ago, because he wouldn’t have gotten pushed [in WWE] as the old Matt Hardy. He would’ve just been there to job and he could make more money and keep his rep better and work his own schedule [in TNA]. Now you could make the argument that, with this gimmick, he could merchandise this gimmick and make a killing in WWE. The thing is, with TNA, he’s gonna have creative control of his thing, which he would not have in WWE.”

“And Jeff, I don’t know. Jeff may wanna stay with Matt and just do this gimmick as well. Jeff has no need to go [back to WWE]. They’re both making really good money, they both saved a lot of money. Jeff’s body is really beat up, and it’s a really hard schedule. I know there’s probably a thing in Jeff’s mind about going back there for one last run, and that last bit of exposure. It could happen. Jeff going back there with his body as beat up as it is… he’ll be a star there because he has a lot of charisma, more than most of the guys that are there. But I don’t see them putting him in the championship picture.”

WWE News: Top WrestleMania 33 Match Reportedly Scrapped, Update on Other Matches

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, John Cena vs. Undertaker match that was planned for WrestleMania 33 has been scrapped due to Vince McMahon changing his mind about the idea.

It was said Vince changed his mind about what was originally one of the marquee matches for WrestleMania, but the plans for the event will become more clear after the Royal Rumble PPV. There has been plenty of rumors about Undertaker challenging for a World Championship at Mania, but there are no plans for him regarding this.

When The Phenom returned on WWE Smackdown Live at #SDLive900, the plan was to build to a match around Cena, but with him now appearing on RAW this past week in New Orleans, he’ll likely face someone on that roster. The tease of Braun Strowman being the opponent was seen on TV, but Strowman is not the opponent in mind at this time.

Currently,
– Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg,
– Triple H vs Seth Rollins and
– Big Show vs Shaquille O’Neal are the key matches, with

– Chris Jericho vs Kevin Owens, and
– Charlotte defending the RAW Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania 33 is the current plan, but the expected singles match against Bayley is not the match penciled in at the moment. The match proposed would see Charlotte defend in a Fatal-4-Way against Bayley, Nia Jax and Sasha Banks.

WWE News: Updated List of Names For The 2017 WWE Hall Of Fame

There were rumors making waves online of a current WWE employee to be getting inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame this year. The word now is that WWE NXT General Manager William Regal will get the nod this year.

According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio, other names considered for the 2017 class are:-

– Former 9 Time WWE Tag Team Champion & WWE’s 12th Grand Slam Champion ”Captain Charisma” Christian,
– Former WWE Tag Team Champion and Current backstage agent Mike Rotunda,
– Former WWE Tag Team Champions The Natural Disasters – Earthquake and Typhoon
John Tenta (Earthquake) would be inducted posthumously as he passed away in 2006;

And, we also know that

– Former 3 Time WCW World Heavyweight Champion ”DDP” Diamond Dallas Page and,
– Former WWE Intercontinental Champion ”Ravishing” Rick Rude
will be inducted in the WWE HOF this year.

WWE News: Update on Paige’s WWE Status and When She’s Expected Back

Paige is not expected back inside the squared circle of in time for WrestleMania 33, according to a new report by PWInsider. One source is reporting that Paige won’t be back in action until the summer.

In October 2016, after having neck surgery Paige’s current status is said to be a “touch & go” kind of situation. The feeling is that WWE officials have taken the decision of letting her neck heal before she can start training for her in-ring return at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL.

According to various reports, Paige was backstage at last week’s RAW in Tampa, FL for a brief meeting with WWE officials regarding her health and the update on the healing of her neck injury.
