After tonight’s RAW, we got more information on Sunday’s WWE Great Balls Of Fire PPV, new matches, and title matches moved to the preshow. As it stands right now, the WWE Cruiserweight Title match will be on the kick-off show (why, I don’t know; there’s no reason at all for a title match not to be on the main card), and The Hardys will challenge Cesaro and Sheamus for the RAW Tag Team Titles in a 30-minute Iron Man Match.

Several new matches were added to the WWE Great Balls of Fire card on Monday night. Sasha Banks won a gauntlet match to earn a WWE RAW Women’s Championship match against Alexa Bliss. Additionally, Titus O’Neil announced that Akira Tozawa will face Neville for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship and Bray Wyatt vs. Seth Rollins was also added to the card.

The following matches are now confirmed to take place on July 9 in Dallas.

• WWE Universal Title Match
  Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Samoa Joe
• WWE RAW Women’s Title Match
  Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Sasha Banks
• WWE Cruiserweight Title Match
  Neville (c) vs. Akira Tozawa
• Ambulance Match
  Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman
• Bray Wyatt vs. Seth Rollins

Prior to RAW, during the WWE Main Event tapings, The Revival returned to in-ring action. The pair faced Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. We won’t reveal the spoilers here in case you want to watch the match. The other bout that will be featured on this week’s Main Event features Cedric Alexander taking on Brian Kendrick.

Braun Strowman has been cleared to return to WWE, according to a new report via PWInsider. We reported last week that Strowman was being advertised for a June 18 house show in Springfield, IL.

Strowman has been out of action since May due to suffering an elbow injury during the WWE Payback PPV, which resulted in surgery.   The word going around at last night’s RAW was that Braun had been cleared to return a week ago and will return to TV as soon as WWE Creative writes him back into RAW storylines.

When the original announcement came that Braun was injured, the WWE reported he had suffered a shattered elbow and would be out six months.  The ability to return this quickly will no doubt increase Strowman’s stock in the company.  Whether the length of the time off was exaggerated to begin with or Braun made a John Cena-esque recovery remains to be seen.

The original plan for WWE Great Balls of Fire was a Lesnar/Strowman match for the WWE Universal Championship, but as we know that changed due to the injury.  As far as we know, the plan is still for Lesnar vs. Strowman at SummerSlam, but Strowman certainly has unfinished business with Roman Reigns.

It looks like we won’t have to wait too long to see how Brock Lesnar responds to Samoa Joe’s attack on Paul Heyman during WWE RAW last week.

WWE tweeted out that The Beast Incarnate will open tonight’s RAW, which is already a huge improvement over the last handful of shows. Lesnar’s mere presence usually makes RAW more entertaining to watch, and if he ends up getting physical with Joe less than a month away from their Universal Title match, it could be a great opening segment.
