The WWE Backlash betting odds saw a major shift on Saturday, with Jinder Mahal now favored to defeat Randy Orton for the WWE Championship on Sunday night.

BetWrestling sent us the updated odds, which you can see below. The rest of the matches are currently lined up with odds that one would expect.

Bet Wrestling has posted early betting odds for this Sunday’s WWE pay per view, Backlash. Compared to most other WWE events, the betting odds are rather even at this point. This may reflect a) most of the finishes are not known by those within the company, b) public perception is rather split on most matches or c) a little of both a) and b). Smart money probably won’t come in until the day of the show.

The only prohibitive favorites on the card as of now are Randy Orton in the WWE Title Match and Shinsuke Nakamura, neither of which are all that surprising. It’s highly doubtful that WWE will take the title off Randy Orton at this point, especially since he’s rumored to be feuding with AJ Styles going into the summer. And, even though anything can happen in WWE, it would be rather self-defeating to have Nakamura lose in his first match on the main roster.

With WWE Backlash only a few days away, tonight’s SmackDown Live finally seemed to finalize the card. There was a new match added, and with the contract signing between the entire blue brand’s Women’s Division, Sunday’s card looks to be set.

Sami Zayn and Baron Corbin was added to the card tonight after Corbin once again attacked Zayn backstage. These two started their feud a few weeks back on an episode of Talking Smack, and it seems to just escalate every week.

And, on Talking Smack, Shane McMahon made a match between Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. The former Wyatt Family brothers will try to work out their issues at Backlash, as well.

With these two matches added, here’s the updated card.
