WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley recently took part in an AMA session on Reddit to promote his new book Saint Mick and he answered questions about his wrestling career, who he would like to write a storyline for and who he thinks would have been a good feud in his prime. Check out the highlights below:

On his favorite foreign object:

“Chris Jericho hit me with a copy of my own book in 1999. He got the victory, because it was such a large volume – but I made a heckuva comeback. I told him he wanted more of me I would be at the bookstore and gave an address. It was the largest turnout I had ever had!”

On who he would like to write a storyline on:

“I would love to write something for Becky Lynch. I’ve mentioned before that I don’t think we’ve seen the best of her – and her ability to dig down deep for promos is still somewhat underutilized.”

How it was like to be the General Manager of RAW:

“I really enjoyed my time at GM. I could go into detail about little things I wish I could’ve done – but in the end I was fired in spectacular fashion, in a way that helped the company. That’s all you can really ask for when you sign-on is GM. Stephanie was great to Work with!”

On which superstar he could have a good feud with:

“In my prime, I think I could’ve had really good matches with any number of WWE superstars. I think he cactus/Owens match could’ve been great, or a mankind/bray Wyatt match could’ve had some amazing build up.”

While appearing on Steve Austin’s podcast, Bayley made the following remarks about possibly turning heel:

“It breaks my heart even thinking about it! And so, when I do have these ideas, like, I write everything down, ideas, just in case, they want ideas, ‘like, okay, we’re going to do this,’ I have ideas for that. But even just thinking about that, like one day, I was like, ‘yeah, I’m going to pitch this! I’m going to do it! Like, I want to be a heel!’ And then, I went out that night for our match and I saw maybe five or six girls dressed up like me and we had met these girls before the show that were just in tears meeting us. I was like, ‘okay, no, I can’t do it! I can’t turn my back on them. I don’t know what would happen.’”

Tammy “Sunny” Sytch remains hospitalized at Southside Hospital in Bayshore, New York after being admitted to the emergency room last weekend.

“Still here. Still getting tests done. Not fun. Someone amuse me,” she wrote on Friday.

She mentioned on Tuesday that she would not be sharing details regarding her health.

“I’m still In the hospital but I won’t be sharing any details about my health because every time I do, websites write about me and post my bloody head pictures,” Sytch wrote. “Sorry, but I can not give any details any longer. At all. Thank you all for your concern. I’ll be here for a couple more days.”

Russo opens today’s show speaking about Netflix’s GLOW. He says that he watched the first few episodes and he was absolutely hooked. He thinks the show is very well written and acted, and it’s no surprise to him that the show is seeing success. He always said that a well written wrestling drama/comedy would draw better than an actual wrestling show.

He informs that back in 2000, he was hired by FOX to write a wrestling show and he penned a show called ‘Rope Opera’. It was more of a drama but FOX wanted a comedy, therefore they passed on his show.

Russo says that his disagreements with many wrestling journalists are simply that, disagreements. He does not hate any of them, and when he picks apart their silly opinions it’s just entertainment for him. However, he does not like being labeled a racist or a homophobe which a couple of them have done, and that made things personal for him.

He says that he is neither a racist or a homophobe, and if anyone has been discriminated his whole life it’s been him. He’s an Italian from New York, and people just think he acts a certain way due to his upbringing. He says that people continue to make up silly things about him and everyone believes the nonsense.
