Vince McMahon confirmed on Twitter that Ronda Rousey will be at WrestleMania this year. While wishing the former UFC Fighter a ‘Happy Birthday’ on Twitter, he also mentioned that he would see her at Mania’ — seemingly confirming her for the event.

As reported earlier this week, WWE plans to save her in-ring debut for the biggest show of the year. Right now the working plan is for her to be involved in a mixed tag match against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Braun Strowman and The Rock are possible names for her tag partner in that match.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Oney Lorcan is currently out of action with an injury. Meltzer didn’t elaborate on the specifics of the injury but noted that it’s not too serious.

Lorcan’s last television match came at the November 29th NXT TV tapings as he and Danny Burch lost to The Authors of Pain.

WWE announced earlier today that The Dudley Boys would be inducted into the 2018 Hall of Fame class during WrestleMania weekend.

PWInsider reports that the word going around backstage at Sunday’s Royal Rumble event that Mark Henry and Lisa “Ivory” Moretti were also going to be inducted into this year’s class.

Already announced is Bill Goldberg, who will headline the 2018 class. Inductions will be held at the Smoothie King center on Friday, April 6th, 2018.

Speaking of the next Takeover event, Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly are expected to defend the NXT Tag Team Championship titles against Sanity.

During the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the betting odds for the Men’s Royal Rumble match for Sunday’s show. Meltzer believes that someone from the SmackDown brand will win The Rumble because Roman Reigns could earn his shot at Brock Lesnar’s Universal Title at the upcoming Elimination Chamber event.

The likely winners for SmackDown include Nakamura and Randy Orton, or perhaps Baron Corbin or even Rusev as a long shot. Nakamura and Orton have both been top favorites in the betting odds for weeks now and WWE previously had plans for Nakamura vs. Styles and Orton vs. Styles but those matches never happened.

The other possibility is that an outsider who makes a surprise entrant in the Rumble ends up winning.
