While speaking to People.com, it was brought up how years of heavy drinking caused Flair’s serious health problems with his kidneys and heart. Flair mentioned that he would never drink again moving forward because he never wants to go through this again.

“I’ll never drink again,” says Flair. “I never want to go through this again.”

Flair also revealed that Charlotte was told that he would probably not survive the surgery he had. The belief is that if Flair had not seen a doctor when he was complaining about bad stomach pains, he would’ve died.

Former Impact wrestler mentioned on Twitter that he almost “hung it up” but teased that it’s now “time to TakeOver.” This has led to online speculation that he may have signed with WWE.

It’s worth noting that at last word, Gunner was on WWE’s radar. The belief was that if he passed a WWE physical, the company would probably sign him to deal. We will keep you updated on his status.
