Tyrus recently spoke with Arm Drag Takedown about his time with Impact Wrestling and his departure from the company. Here are some highlights from the interview:

Impact not wanting Tyrus to work for Jeff Jarrett when GFW was still a separate company: “They didn’t want me working for Jeff. Basically, it came down to either stay with Impact or I could go with Global. I was making more with Impact, and Global didn’t have the resources to pay me what I was making.”

Jarrett attempting to get Tyrus to come to GFW: “He was basically saying it was better for me to come to Global, because Impact was about to fold. He was very adamant about that. Two weeks later, at the TV tapings, guess whose ass is there working the shows? Jeff Jarrett. I was like, ‘B—-, [are] you crazy?’ Who does that? Check it: If I would have quit and taken money out of my family’s mouths, went and worked there and then, ‘Oh, we’re going to have to go work Impact…’ How would that have gone?”

Leaving Impact once Jarrett started working there again: “When Jeff Jarrett came along — because him and I have an uncomfortable history — I just wasn’t comfortable with the management. … Unless [Jarrett] and I were going to have a sit down – which just wasn’t going to happen – I knew this was not going to be a spot for me. I just wasn’t comfortable with it.”

The Miz is being advertised for next week’s episode of RAW from the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, RI. The Miz has been off WWE television filming the next installment of The Marine alongside Becky Lynch and Shawn Michaels. Michaels mentioned back on December 2nd that there would be three weeks of filming, which would put his return at next week.

Nia Jax recently spoke with The Mirror about her time on the main roster and her recent absence from WWE.  Here are some highlights from the interview:

Their impact during their short time on the main roster: “Yeah we didn’t think that, we didn’t think it would come this far. Lex [Alexa] is just a shooting star right now, it’s crazy. She is on fire. We didn’t expect that in NXT at all. It’s very humbling and we’re honoured. Hopefully it continues.”

Nia Jax’s time away from WWE: “Thank you. Well actually I had live events off for the last couple of weeks because that’s just how it worked out, for cycling and stuff, so I got a little rest from TV because I wasn’t in anything storyline-wise, so I had a little rest there. But yeah, it’s been great. I love what we do, I love the storytelling, especially being such a different character and obviously a different size than everybody, we get to play on that and it’s always cool to see where we can go in the ring.”

If WWE fans will see a different side of her on Total Divas: “Yes, definitely. They will definitely see something completely different. On Raw I’m the big mean girl who goes and beats everybody up, on Total Divas they will see a softer vulnerable side of me that definitely isn’t see on Raw. And some very goofy stuff between Alexa and I. Team Rude is definitely in full effect.”

Jason Jordan vs. Elias in a “Guitar on a Pole Match” has been announced for Monday’s episode of RAW in Manchester, England. Here is WWE’s official announcement:

After Elias blasted Jason Jordan with his guitar during their match two weeks ago, Jordan fired back last week and delivered a guitar counter-assault.

Accordingly, WWE.com has learned that the two Superstars will come to Manchester, England this Monday night to go head-to-head in a Guitar-on-a-Pole Match on Raw.

The contest, which can only be won when a Superstar retrieves the guitar and uses it on his opponent, promises to leave one of these competitors singing the blues.

Don’t miss a moment of the action as the hits keep on coming for Team Red. Raw journeys to the Manchester Arena, this Monday night at 8/7 C on USA Network.

PWInsider reports that Rockstar Spud is no longer with Impact Wrestling after receiving his release from the company two-to-three weeks ago.

Spud was the company’s first-ever winner of the British Bootcamp series. He was being used as a wrestler, personality and ring announcer during his time with the company.

According to PWInsider, Nia Jax will be returning to WWE for Monday’s episode of RAW. Jax has been off WWE television now for several weeks.

While there were reports of Nia taking a “leave of absence” due to not wanting to lose clean to Sasha Banks at TLC, Dave Meltzer mentioned in the latest installment of The Wrestling Observer that’s not the case. She simply wanted time off to recharge her batteries.

Cody Rhodes answered a fan on Twitter who asked about the amount of money earned on the indie circuit and mentioned that he’s now making three times more money working independently than he was working a full-time schedule for WWE.

Wrestler’s pay has been a big topic in recent weeks, as many independent talents that work the indie circuit have been making a big fuss on how they’re making vs. how much they wouldn’t be making in WWE. Austin Aries recently mentioned that he’s made more money in the past six weeks than he did during the last six months working for WWE.

While speaking with Live Audio Wrestling, Jimmy Jacobs talked about his release from WWE and mentioned that he was okay with how everything went down.

“No mistake was made. I am a-ok with the way everything went down,” said Jacobs.

Jacobs would then confirm that the rumors are true that he was actually released from the company for posting a photo of himself with The Bullet Club when they decided to invade RAW a few weeks back.

“It was given to me as the reason.”

Jacobs indicated that he wasn’t sure if the incident with The Bullet Club was the straw that broke the camel’s back or if there were other factors that played into his release from the company.

”If it was, I’m not aware of any of that. It’s certainly possible but who knows.”

The Big Show is back in the gym following his recent hip surgery. He shared the following update on Twitter:

WWE producer Jimmy Jacobs is no longer working for WWE, according to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet.

Apparently Jacobs decided to take a photo of himself with The Bullet Club when they showed up to the arena prior to RAW in Ontario, CA a few weeks back. This didn’t go over very well with the higher ups and he received “major heat” for this. It’s very possible that this could have played a role in his departure from the company. WWE reps have yet to comment.
