Ring of Honor announced on Wednesday that former world champion Christopher Daniels will appear on Chris Jericho’s Rock N’ Wrestling Rager – the first wrestling festival to be held aboard a cruise ship.

“The Ring General” joins names such as the Young Bucks, Cody and Dalton Castle aboard the cruise, which sails from Miami to Nassau between October 27th – 31st. Daniels will be competing in the Sea of Honor tournament.

ROH posted the following on Twitter:

Footage of Paige’s injury when she got kicked in the face by Sasha Banks at Wednesday’s WWE Live Event in Long Island, NY has surfaced online, which you can see below:

PWInsider reports that Absolution was scheduled to go over in the match which ended up being called off due to Paige being hurt.

Paige is being evaluated today and she’s been taken off the road for precautionary measures. We will keep you updated on her status.

As seen on Wednesday’s episode of NXT, the company began airing vignettes for a mystery debut of a newcomer to the brand.

The belief is these teasers are for the debut of former UFC Fighter Shayna Baszler, who was a runner-up in The Mae Young Classic. At the last set of tapings, Bazler debuted on NXT and had an altercation with Kairi Sane. That spot will air on the December 20th episode.

NXT Superstar Kyle O’Reilly announced today that his mother had passed away back on November 29th following a long battle with cancer.

“On Wednesday November 29, Heaven gained another angel. After a short yet courageous battle with Cancer my beloved Mother has passed away. She was the sweetest and kindest woman I’ve ever known and encouraged me to chase my dreams. She was a devoted wife, Mother and nurse who dedicated her life to caring for those in need. Several cable guides including Comcast, FIOS and DirecTV hare listing that an episode of NXT will broadcast on the USA Network on Wednesday, December 13th at 7PM ET. The USA Network website is also listing the show as well.

While this could be a mistake, it’s also very possible that they could be doing something NXT related during that time period, as it’s the same week WWE takes over the USA Network. The fact that USA is listing it by name is interesting.

According to PWInsider, Jeff Jarrett has checked himself into an in-patient rehabilitation facility on Wednesday. This move by Jarrett comes after reports of Jarrett wrestling an indie event drunk over the weekend. Jarrett’s peers have also indicated that he’s been going “through some issues” and “having a tough time.”

It’s being said that Jarrett will be in WWE sponsored rehab. Jarrett and WWE have not worked together since 1999.  WWE-sponsored rehab is available to past and present performers that have been under contract with them. As of this writing, there’s no word exactly how long he will be in treatment.

While speaking at the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, Stephanie McMahon talked about fans and how they can influence the matches that are booked for upcoming WrestleMania events.

“Our audience tells us what they love, what they don’t like and worse, what they don’t care about. And you have to be listening, and in WWE, yes, we do, we pivot on the fly. It’s an advantage that we’re live. We do set our storylines out a year in advance, WrestleMania being our Super Bowl and then we program backwards, but things happen. The audience might not be invested in a character that we think they will be invested in for whatever reason. There could be an injury that happens, because we really are an incredible athletic event as well. Anything can happen, so that ability to pivot and twist is really important.”

Stephanie also explained how fans can influence NXT Superstars as well.

“And when you think about NXT, for example, our audience is actually determining who makes it to the next level, who goes to that main roster,” McMahon said. “And they know it, they know that they are a part of that person’s success, so they are that much more invested in it. And again, I just think that engagement is really important.”

Kofi Kingston may have suffered a knee injury at Wednesday’s WWE Live Event in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Correspondents at the event sent word that after his match with Big E against Baron Corbin & Dolph Ziggler, Kofi missed a crossbody and was seen limping after the spot. He was helped to the back shortly after.

There was a rumor going around Wednesday that both Rusev and Lana have asked for their releases from WWE over the past week, which we didn’t cover because the story had no foundation and came from a questionable source.
