Rey Mysterio’s return footage on YouTube has garnered a ton of views and everyone seems more interested in watching that over Ronda Rousey’s debut at The Royal Rumble. Mysterio’s return has well over six million views, while Ronda’s debut footage only has 2 million views.

WWE announced the Mixed Match Challenge brackets for the upcoming Facebook Watch series. Here is what they sent out:

“WWE Mixed Match Challenge will premiere this Tuesday night at 10 ET/7 PT, exclusively on Facebook Watch. As first revealed by Cathy Kelley on Facebook, the full bracket has now been established.

All six first-round matches will feature a Raw team taking on a SmackDown LIVE team. On the Jan. 16 premiere, Finn Bálor & Sasha Banks will go head-to-head against Shinsuke Nakamura & Natalya.

In the ensuing weeks, the remaining first-round matches will be carried out as follows:

Week 2: The Miz & Asuka vs. Big E & Carmella

Week 3: Braun Strowman & Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss vs. Sami Zayn & Becky Lynch

Week 4: Goldust & Alicia Fox vs. SmackDown Tag Team Champion Jimmy Uso and Naomi

Week 5: Elias & Bayley vs. Rusev & Lana

Week 6: Apollo Crews & Nia Jax vs. Bobby Roode & SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair

The semi-finals will include a special “second chance fan vote” in which the WWE Universe will have the ability to give an eliminated team a second chance in the tournament.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore will not be on tonight’s episode of 205 Live, as he is headed to Dubai and India with the RAW brand. While WWE has not announced matches for tonight’s show, they posted the following teasers for the show:

“Why have Gentleman Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick turned their attention to Kalisto?
Last week, WWE 205 Live played host to a clash of competitive styles between Gentleman Jack Gallagher and former WWE Crusierweight Champion Kalisto. For the masked lucha libre sensation, the match represented a chance to regain his momentum and refocus his efforts on reclaiming the Crusierweight Title. Despite the highly competitive nature of the contest, it ended prematurely when The Brian Kendrick charged the ring and unloaded his fury on Kalisto.

After recovering from his opponent’s patented Salida del Sol, Gallagher joined his ally, and the two attacked Kalisto, displaying their trademark cruelty. The question remains, however, as to why the duo attacked the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion. The Brian Kendrick always has a plan, and their motive could potentially be the same as in the past – trying to help other Cruiserweights embrace their own aggression – or could something more sinister be afoot?”

Will Drew Gulak steer The Zo Train to a better WWE 205 Live?
Last night on Raw, Drew Gulak proved just how calculating of a tactician he is when he managed to capitalize on Cedric Alexander delivering Lumbar Checks to Tony Nese and Mustafa Ali by taking out Alexander and securing the pinfall for himself. The unexpected end to the contest shocked an already breathless WWE Universe following a highly competitive Fatal 4-Way Match that was prime display of what WWE 205 Live is all about.

The prospect of Enzo Amore defending the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against a member of The Zo Train has always been a possibility, but complications may arise as The Certified G’s opponent could be his most trusted and vocal ally, Drew Gulak. Despite the potential conflict, following Gulak’s win on Raw, The Realest Champ in the Room put Gulak in charge of The Zo Train while Enzo is on an international tour.

With a potential opportunity to face Enzo for the WWE Cruiserweight Title in the cards, Gulak has a chance to show the other members of The Zo Train that he is a better leader that The Certified G. If Gulak can rally the support of The Zo Train to follow his lead, the possibility of facing – and defeating – Enzo Amore and becoming the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion could do wonders for his campaign for a better WWE 205 Live.

Welcome to Survivor Series 2017, where Raw and SmackDown go head-to-head in the most bitter rivalry in years!

Team Raw Vs. Team SmackDown Live. Team Angle Vs. Team McMahon. This massive five-on-five match will determine which brand is better, with Shane McMahon looking to prove SD Live as the A-show, while Angle is fighting for his job. Shane led an invasion of Raw a month ago, which led to a response from Raw on the final episode of SmackDown Live. Shane and Angle have been at each others throats for weeks and now Triple H has inserted himself into the match, adding even more drama to the proceedings, which were already at boiling point. This match is sure to have repercussions for the many months ahead.

Every other match on the show tonight, minus one, is also to be Raw Vs. SmackDown, and none is bigger than Brock Lesnar Vs. AJ Styles. The Champion of SmackDown Live and the WWE takes on the Champion of Raw and the Universe. This match changed drastically once Jinder Mahal was removed and Styles inserted in, which has led to a huge increase in anticipation. What was once a relative snorefest, became a must-see match that has the potential to tear the house down.

The Shield will also take to the ring tonight to defend Raw’s honour against The New Day. This will be The Shield’s first PPV match as a unit since reforming, and they take on SmackDown’s resident funnymen. This match could very well steal the show and will be one of the most anticipated bouts of the night. Beyond that, The Miz faces Baron Corbin, The Bar take-on The Uso’s, Alexa Bliss battles Charlotte and Team Raw’s Women will face Team SmackDown’s ladies.

The Survivor Series Kick-Off Show will begin at 5 PM ET, yes a two-hour pre-show, with Enzo Amore defending his Cruiserweight Championship against Kalisto, Matt Hardy will face Elias, and Breezango takes-on Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. It was noted over the weekend via Dave Metlzer of Wrestling Observer Radio that Jeff Hardy sustained an injury back in July at the WWE Great Balls of Fire event and has been working hurt ever since.

WWE announced today that Jeff ‘s injury will require surgery to repair a torn rotator cup. However, it’s worth noting that WWE claims that Jeff actually suffered the injury during the Six-Pack Challenge on last week’s episode of RAW. These claims by WWE are most-likely storyline related and that’s not when Jeff was hurt.

Here is an excerpt of what WWE wrote:

“Jeff Hardy has suffered a torn rotator cuff and will undergo surgery to repair it, WWE.com has learned.

The former Raw Tag Team Champion sustained the injury during a Six-Pack Challenge on last week’s Raw that was eventually won by Jason Jordan.

“Jeff is dealing with a rotator cuff tear right now,” said WWE Senior Ringside Physician Dr. Stephen Daquino. “It’s a full thickness tear of his supraspinatus tendon and a couple of other areas in the shoulder. He’s going to go for evaluation and probably for surgery next week.”

Hardy added that he also tore his labrum and that he initially thought he dislocated his shoulder during the match.

“Once they get in there, they’ll figure out more about what they have to repair,” said Hardy. “But for sure, the rotator cuff has to be repaired, and then they’ll look at the labrum when they get in there.”

Hardy also revealed he would undergo the procedure next Tuesday, Oct. 3.

“It’s depressing,” Hardy told WWE.com. “More than any time in a career, it’s those times that make you go, ‘Wow, I love professional wrestling.’ It sucks that I can’t be involved in [a] match or can’t get in there and do what I normally do because I’m injured, but I just have to get over that, stop worrying about it and look forward and push myself to get repaired and healed and come back better than ever with a brand-new shoulder.”

However, as the road to recovery looms, Hardy would not rule out the possibility that the WWE Universe would see him on TV in a different capacity while he heals.

“There’s a lot of crazy ideas,” said Hardy. “It inspires me to think a lot more about what I can do other than the extreme stunts and still be entertaining.”

“The Power of Love is Strong…..And BABY makes 3. Mike and I are happy to announce I am 13 weeks pregnant!! Life is what happens when you are making other plans. This is the universe’s plan for us. Last year Mike and I tried to expand our family when we had a lighter schedule and this year we thought we had put those plans on hold but apparently that is not what is meant to be and we are so happy for our new path. Mike has wanted children for a long time (he is gonna be a very good daddy) and my biological clock just recently started ticking!! Timing is everything and now is our perfect time for family.

As far as the future… WWE is and has been my dream job and I plan on coming back with my doctor’s approval after the baby is born and get’s plenty of mommy time. But, until then, I will be posting my REAL updates on my social media accounts. There is so much pressure to have the perfect pregnancy, gain the right amount of weight, and be super stylish. But, let me just say I’ve gained 7 pounds, been nauseous everyday, and wore yoga pants every day since 6 weeks. I’m not perfect. Haha… life is messy. My husband is a recovering prescription drug addict, we are in the middle of buying a house, we are moving across county, and I’m pregnant!!! I figure I can either stress or feel blessed. I feel blessed. I choose happiness. WE choose happiness. Thank you to our families, friends, WWE, and the fans for all of the support! Taz opens today’s show speaking about last night’s episode of NXT.

He says that while he enjoyed the lengthy video package dedicated to Asuka, that took up a lot of time on a one-hour broadcast. Caught up in all of this is the noticeable absence of NXT Champion Drew McIntyre yet again. Taz says the time that was utilized for Asuka’s video package should have been dedicated to building their new Champion.

Taz has a major problem with how NXT has booked McIntyre since winning the NXT Championship. He loves McIntyre and he has absolutely no issue with McIntyre becoming Champion, but he’s still fairly new to the NXT brand so the creative team must do a better job of building their new top guy.

Taz continues by pointing out that Wolfgang mentioned on last night’s show that he was trained by Drew McIntyre. This was a perfect spot for McIntyre to be utilized in a guest commentator position, where he could put over the two UK competitors, all while remaining visible to the NXT Universe and threatening revenge on Adam Cole and company.

At the end of the UK Title match, McIntyre would have been in a great spot to help Wolfgang after the attack from The Undisputed Era. This would have effectively tied together both stories and would have given McIntyre some much needed television time.

Who will walk into No Mercy as Neville’s latest foe? We will find out tonight!

Also on 205 Live, TJP has been stumbling around on crutches for weeks now but suddenly found himself cured last week, when he clobbered Ariya Daivari and even managed to dab. Rich Swann, like the WWE Universe, was shocked by the miraculous healing of TJP and now he has some questions to answer on tonight’s 205 Live!
