WWE has been keeping NXT Superstar Lio Rush out of action ever since he joked about Emma’s departure from the company on Twitter. WWE has not had Lio perform since the same weekend he sent out the tweet.

For those who missed it, Rush wrote: “I guess these are the things that happen when you’re not TRULY ready for @WWEAsuka”

This tweet didn’t go over very well with many of the talents within the company. Dave Meltzer noted in The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there was talk at one point of firing him over the incident. It’s being said that he’s going to have to put in serious work to get the heat off him moving forward.

We reported last week that that Matt Hardy has multiple creative ideas for himself to keep him afloat as a singles wrestler while his brother Jeff is absent from WWE television because he’s recovering from surgery.

Matt took to his Twitter account and teased that a change is coming. He sent out the following tweet:

As noted earlier today, Michael Hayes invited Cody Rhodes to the upcoming WWE Starrcade event to team up with his brother Goldust.

So Cody, UR right we should have Goldy on the show, by the way, what R U doing that night??? Wanna team with UR Brother?

James Ellsworth may be returning to SmackDown Live next week from his storyline suspension. Ellsworth took to his Twitter account to point out that his suspension is up since being suspended 30 days ago on July 4th:

“It is now 12:00am August 4th 2017,” wrote Ellsworth.

Ellsworth has since then deleted the tweet. If I had to speculate why the tweet was deleted, it’s possible WWE didn’t want the return spoiled, so they could instructed him to delete it.

This didn’t go over well with several fans as R-Truth is getting a lot of heat over his reply to Goldust’s Memorial Day Tweet:
