Russo is joined on today’s show by former ECW, WCW and WWE Superstar, Big Vito.

Russo mentions that he has several new year resolutions this year, and he wants to share them with his audience.

First and foremost, he admits that he needs to lose some weight. He says he’s lost weight before when he put his mind to it, so he just needs to start exercising more and eating healthier and he’s sure he’ll shed some weight again.

Additionally, Russo informs that he doesn’t want to be involved with things he doesn’t enjoy anymore. He has spent years of his life on airplanes and watching wrestling  when he had no interest in doing either. He points out that he’ll be 57 years old this month, and he’s sick of wasting his life doing things he doesn’t enjoy.

His third resolution is to find a way to enjoy WWE’s product in 2018. He watches RAW and Smackdown now and is angered by the fact that he wasted hours of his life watching something that isn’t entertaining, and he doesn’t know why he feels that way. His critics say he’s bitter but that couldn’t be farther from the truth in his opinion, because he has no interest in returning to WWE at this point.

We noted earlier this week that WWE could possibly be making more cuts to the current product. The company has already decided to discontinue the usage of pyros at WWE events and they also cancelled Talking Smack & Renee Young’s Unfiltered show on the WWE Network.

In an update, Dave Meltzer confirmed on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that they have decided to cut Edge & Christian’s show. This is another show that is a victim of the recent budget cuts. The viewership wasn’t that all that great and WWE is cutting shows that people aren’t watching.

It’s also worth mentioning that the plans for R-Truth’s game show are no longer on the table. It was reported a while back that the company was planning on rolling it out soon but that is no longer the case.

Don’t say you wanna be done with drama in a quiet manner & then have company stooges like Jeff & Dutch give interviews spewing BS. If the issue was as simple & cut/dry as these morons are trying to make it seem, I wouldn’t have been out here fighting for my family. Truth is TNA can’t afford to go to court over this, so they’re going to downplay it to anyone who will listen & lie to look powerful. Money is power. Never forget that.”

With The Hardy Boyz winning every match heading to their bout against Sheamus and Cesaro, it is possible that they drop the titles. The Drifter is expected to attack The Miz because he “owes him one”. Per betting odds, Samoa Joe is expected to win the Fatal 5-Way. It should be noted that betting odds are not always correct.
