During Friday’s Mae Young Classic tapings at Full Sail University, WWE did an angle that saw a tease between WWE and UFC’s Four Horsewomen.
After one of Shayna Baszler’s matches in the tournament, Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Bayley were shown at ringside on the opposite side of Ronda Rousey and her crew. Both sides had words with each other and it was made obvious WWE has something planned between the two sides, as the angle was recorded.

WWE Hall of Famer Alundra Blayze revealed on Instagram that she’ll be involved with the Mae Young Classic.

Tapings will take place July 13th and 14th at Full Sail University and the first four episodes will be available on-demand on August 28th on the WWE Network. The finals of the tournament will then air on a live special from Las Vegas on September 12 at 10 PM ET.

As previously noted, WWE will head to Full Sail University on July 13th and 14th to tape the Mae Young Classic. Here are some notes regarding the show, courtesy of PWInsider:
WWE has already locked in a number of talents for the tournament. There is expected to be around 32-women total.
The WWE Network will feature a preview special for the tournament on August 20th.
The first round of the tournament will be released on VOD the following week.
The second round of the tournament will release the week after that, which is the first week of September.
The finals of the live special are expected to air on Tuesday September 12th. SmackDown runs that night in Las Vegas and it’s being speculated that they could hold the finals there, instead of Orlando.
As previously noted, Jim Ross will be one of the announcers for the upcoming women’s tournament that will be taped on July 13 and 14th. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Lita is being considered to join J.R. on the commentating booth.
While the show is being taped in July, there is no official announcement yet on when WWE plans to air the shows on the WWE Network. We will keep you updated.

While appearing on Busted Open Radio, Jim Ross confirmed that he will be doing the play-by-play commentary for the upcoming WWE Women’s tournament which will take place this summer.

The premiere date has been set for the WWE UK show that was taped last weekend in Norwich, England. The show will premiere on the WWE Network this upcoming Thursday and is scheduled to run for 1.5 hours starting at 8PM ET.
The synopsis for the show reads, “The Superstars of the WWE UK Championship Tournament and 205 Live descend upon Norwich, England for an unforgettable special event!”
As previously noted, WWE plans on having weekly shows of the UK. That means they are expected to head back overseas and film more material soon.
It’s also worth noting that the show will be going head-to-head with Impact Wrestling.
