While speaking to news.com.au, Finn Balor was asked about why his Demon Character hasn’t been being used on WWE programming lately. He responded with the following remarks:
“The Demon character is something I draw on occasion. It’s something that requires a lot of focus to tap into and really requires the right situation for me to sort of draw on that darker side of my personality. Since I’ve been back on Raw, the opportunity hasn’t really presented itself to tap into that side and I’ve had such a good time being back I haven’t wanted to change. I quite like walking out in my sweet new Balor club jacket. popping my collar and being Mr Cool.”

BYE BYE BUFF DADDY
1990-2018 Retirement Tour
Woodstock, GA, May 31, 2018– Approaching his 28th year in the world of professional wrestling and sports entertainment, Marcus “BUFF the STUFF” Bagwell, or as many have referred to him over the years as his entrance music shouts “BUFF DADDY”!!! has made a definitive decision that as of May 2018 he will lace up his boots for the last time and put the block buster to rest.
When asking Buff about the retirement decision he simply said:
“When going with the Buff Daddy character I knew it was going to be a blessing and a curse.” The blessing was, it was always an over exaggerated part of me so it was easy and a lot of fun to do, but when you call yourself BUFF!! You better damn sure live it and be in that gym 4-5 times per week.
Going into my 28th year in ring performing and with injuries and a few major surgeries over these last few years I really wanted to end my in-ring career still looking and performing like Buff Bagwell.
Anchor Marcus Buff Bagwell is one of the most professional workers currently on the independent wrestling scene. His dedication to the professional wrestling world and the Buff Bagwell character goes unmatched by anyone currently working independent dates. Jim Ross briefly mentioned plans for the upcoming UK show for the WWE Network on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio. While Ross didn’t reveal many details, he did mention that there are plans to do “something significant” for the brand. Ross said that talks are still on-going and the belief is he is just waiting to find out himself.
As previously noted, there was speculation that WWE would be adding a weekly show to the WWE Network that would consist of UK Superstars. The show was rumored to be taped once a month overseas once a month, with the shows airing later on the Network.
Jericho welcomes Big Show to the show.
Show informs that he has lost 90 lbs as of this date. For years he was the biggest guy everywhere he went, and he made big guys look small when he entered the ring with them. It was his gimmick, and he enjoyed it very much. Now that he’s at the end of the career, he doesn’t need that feeling anymore and he knew it was time for him to make a change.
He says his motivation to lose weight came as a result of a conversation with John Cena. He and Cena were jokingly taking jabs at one another one day and as he often did, Show was making fun of Cena’s body in the sense that he lives and eats right but he’s eventually going to die anyway. Show then made the comment, “Who’d want to see a giant with abs?” Cena looked at him and said, “Who wouldn’t want to see a giant with abs?” This angered Show, and he left that conversation very motivated.
He says that he dropped weight before in the past, but it was never really as a result of a positive change in his diet. He’s very proud of this weight loss because he has completely changed his diet and has stuck to his plan. It’s amazing to him how many of his co-workers and fans he has motivated through this weight loss, and that’s something that he’s very proud of.
Welcome to our coverage of SmackDown Live for the 13th of June 2017!
The Money in the Bank competitors will square-off tonight in a huge six-man tag team match, with AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Sami Zayn, taking on Kevin Owens, Dolph Ziggler, and Baron Corbin. Tonight’s match gives a couple of guys a chance to gain some much-needed momentum heading into the all-important match on Sunday night.
Ahead of their huge title rematch at Money in the Bank, Randy Orton comes face-to-face with Jinder Mahal. Sunday’s show is set in Randy’s hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, so can he win his 14th World Heavyweight Championship. I would expect fireworks to happen tonight with Orton taking the fight to Mahal and The Singh Brothers!
Also on tonight’s show, Breezango will tag with The New Day to take on The Uso’s and The Colon’s. Naomi is set to face Tamina in singles competition, which is a big opportunity for the second generation star. Naomi’s challenger at MITB, Lana , could cost her the match and give Tamina some huge momentum. On top of that, Natalya also faces Charlotte ahead of their big ladder match.
All that and more to look forward to on tonight’s SmackDown Live! Are you excited to see the show? Let us know in the comments and be sure to check out the Ringside News app, and enjoy the show!
