Triple H apparently skipped out on Tuesday’s SmackDown Live tapings to have dinner with Ronda Rousey in Los Angeles.

According to TMZ, the two were having dinner at the Republique restaurant and it appeared to be going pretty smooth. TMZ speculates WWE and Rousey are “one step closer” to sealing the deal. One WWE source told TMZ that it’s very unusual for Triple H to skip out on a SmackDown taping, as he’s on hand for everything.

As previously reported, Rousey has been rumored to be having a match at this year’s Wrestlemania against either Charlotte, Asuka or Stephanie McMahon. We will keep you updated if we hear about a deal being reached between WWE and Ronda.

While speaking to TMZ Sports, John Cena was asked if he would ever entertain the idea of getting involved in the politics. Cena said that he wouldn’t, noting “there is too much politics” involved.

When asked if he would retire from WWE, Cena responded, “No, never. They’re family,” referring to his friends and colleagues in WWE.

We reported few months back that WWE was very interested in inking a deal with Ronda Rousey to possibly take part in next year’s WrestleMania. Two names that were discussed as opponents for Ronda were Charlotte Flair and Stephanie McMahon.

TMZ Sports caught up with Stephanie McMahon as she was leaving LAX and was asked about if an offer still stands for Ronda Rousey to come to WWE.

Stephanie responded, “Ronda, the offer still stands, we would love to have you in WWE.”

When asked about the possibly of Stephanie McMahon going one-on-one with the UFC Figher, Stephanie mentioned that “anything is possible.”

While speaking to TMZ Sports, Chris Jericho predicted that he doesn’t believe Conor McGregor would be joining WWE anytime soon if Conor wanted to work with the company.

“I don’t think he’s gonna join in two years, not now with all the money he made,” said Jericho. “But it could happen at some point. He’s got the personality for it, that’s for sure.”

Jericho also believes that the money offered from WWE will play a major factor in the UFC Fighter coming to the company.

“It depends on how much money he can generate, which I think would be a lot. He just made $100 million, so he’s not coming in for peanuts, right?”

Chris Jericho issued the following remarks to TMZ over the fan altercation at Friday’s David Z tribute show:

“David Z was a good friend of mine and I was mentally and emotionally shattered after paying tribute to him and essentially saying goodbye to him Friday night. I was not in a good state of mind at that time and instead of ignoring a pushy fan which is what I would usually do, I snapped. My apologies to all involved and God bless David Z.”

Apparently there was an incident with Chris Jericho and another man after a tribute show for musician David Z in New York City Friday night that resulted in the two cussing each other out right on the street.

TMZ Sports reports that Jericho was approached outside the venue by fans asking for pics and autographs. While Jericho obliged to a couple of fans, he started to get frustrated and began to turn fans down.

When one fan said he was trying to congratulate Jericho on his recent WWE match, Jericho wasn’t having it and told the guy, “F*ck your ass.” This is when a series of f-bombs were dropped by both men. As the fan walks away, Jericho told his friend, “These guys are f*cking pussies.”
