Here are some backstage notes and spoilers from tonight’s Impact Wrestling tapings in Orlando, Florida at Universal Studios:

* Lucha Undergrounds’ Brian Cage is backstage at tonight’s tapings and will be debuting this week. He was also at last night’s tapings but not used.

* Anthem has attempted to bring in Pat Kennedy in as a producer for this week’s tapings but he was too busy with his real estate business.

* It was speculated that Moose had suffered an injury at Wednesday night tapings. The belief is that all signs are positive for his knee.

The reason No Way Jose disappeared from NXT television and wasn’t at live events over the past month was because he was dealing with injuries.

The injuries were not too serious as he returned to action at Thursday’s set of television tapings at Center Stage in Atlanta. While Jose is not booked for the upcoming Takeover event in Philadelphia, it looks like he could be receiving a push because he defeated Cezar Bononi at the tapings.

WWE heads to Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida for tonight’s NXT television tapings. This will be the last taping at Full Sail for several months because of scheduling conflicts with the venue. The next set of tapings will be in Atlanta, GA at Center Stage.

Triple H revealed during a recent conference call that NXT will be taping television at the Center Stage in Atlanta on January 4th, February 1st and February 2nd. The reason the company is doing this has to do with scheduling and lack of availability at Full Sail University. Full Sail will still remain the home of NXT after these set of tapings.

Speaking of NXT tapings, the tapings in February will get NXT through either WrestleMania or right before WrestleMania. This means the card for the NXT Takeover during WrestleMania weekend will pretty much be a lock by February 2nd.

James Storm announced his farewell from the Impact Wrestling at tonight’s tapings. The announcement came after Storm was defeated in a “Loser Leaves Impact” match.

As previously reported, Storm’s contract expires in January of 2018 and the belief was this week’s television tapings could be his last with the company unless he reached a new deal with the company.

PWInsider reports that some talents at this week’s Impact tapings were unhappy that Alberto El Patron has his own private locker room (trailer) while all the other male talents have to share one locker room. Patron’s deal with the company calls for him to have his own private locker room when they are at the tapings.

Speaking of Patron, he left Ottawa this morning and will not be at the final television tapings tonight. Also, his Bound for Glory promo was cut from the UK airing of the show.

LAX member Homicide did appear at last week’s Global Force Wrestling television tapings and we can confirm he’s not injured.

PWInsider reports that the company opted to not bring him in because they felt he wasn’t needed to help further the current storyline involving LAX GFW officials were much more judicious with how many talents they brought in for these tapings. There were a number of talents based out of the Northeast that were not brought in to tape the twelve episodes.

WWE Hall of Famer Alundra Blayze revealed on Instagram that she’ll be involved with the Mae Young Classic.

Tapings will take place July 13th and 14th at Full Sail University and the first four episodes will be available on-demand on August 28th on the WWE Network. The finals of the tournament will then air on a live special from Las Vegas on September 12 at 10 PM ET.

PWInsider reports that Chris Adonis (former WWE Superstar Chris Masters) suffered an injury during Monday’s Impact tapings in Mumbai, India.

It’s being said that Adonis went to a local hospital to get an MRI but it’s currently unknown exactly what injury he had suffered. Due to the injury, he was unable to work the set second of tapings on Tuesday.

We will keep you updated if we receive an update on his condition.
