PWInsider reports that the SmackDown invasion that took place on this week’s episode of RAW was actually taped earlier in the day on Monday.

WWE officials instructed talents to make the attack look as brutal as possible to make the segment look more realistic. WWE ended up having to re-tape one of the shots because one of the WWE Superstars threw a “working punch” that wasn’t good enough for television.

As previously reported, there will be two 5-on-5 traditional elimination RAW vs. SmackDown matches, one for the males and one for the females. Each brand’s champion will be face the opposing brand’s champion. The titles are no on the line.

Global Force Wrestling’s weekly Impact Wrestling show will not be moving off of Pop TV.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that GFW and POP TV have come to terms on a new deal through 2018.

Speaking of Impact, the company remains on a very tight budget so it is very unlikely that their taping schedule will change next year. That means they will continue to tape shows way in advanced. There most recent taping, they taped 12 episodes of Impact.

Alberto El Patron will defend his title against either Bobby Lashley, Matt Sydal or both on the show. Sonjay Dutt will face Trevor Lee in a Ladder match with the X-Division title that was stolen by Lee. They are expected to announce the next Hall of Fame inductee to be honored at Bound for Glory. It’s also being said that they will debut new title belts on this show.
