Former WWE Superstar Kamala has been hospitalized in Oxford, Mississippi and on life support after undergoing emergency surgery.

Kamala’s stepdaughter Juanita James mentioned on Facebook that he underwent surgery at 3:00 a.m. on Sunday. After the surgery Kamala was put on life support.

James provided an update and mentioned that Kamala remains on life support.

James did not elaborate exactly why Kamala underwent emergency surgery.

The Big Show took to his Twitter account and posted another updated on his recovery from surgery. Show mentioned that he has completed his first one-mile walk since the surgery. Here is the tweet he sent out:

We reported earlier today that Jeff Hardy underwent a successful surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff. While that injury is expected to sideline Hardy for around six months, he will still need another surgery.

According to PWInsider, Jeff has been diagnosed with a torn labrum and will be undergoing surgery next week to repair that injury.

It’s also worth mentioning that Dave Meltzer reported last week that Jeff is also dealing with a knee injury. It’s unknown at this time if he will also be undergoing surgery for that injury as well. We will keep you updated if we hear anything regarding this injuries.

WWE confirmed reports that The Big Show will need to undergo hip surgery. The surgery is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 29th after originally being scheduled for this week but delayed due to Hurricane Irma.

Big Show made the following remarks to WWE.com regarding the surgery:

“I have to have the hip resurfaced,” Big Show stated. “There’s been some traumatic injury done to the hip in the match with Braun Strowman. It’s frustrating as hell to be in the best shape I’ve been in my career, but that match, I kind of put a lot out on the table and I’m paying the price for it now. Going forward, I’m very confident in the medical team that’s doing the surgery … we’re gonna go forward from there and see what my options are.”

While Big Show mentioned that he suffered the injury during his match with Strowman, that’s not the case. He actually needed the surgery before heading into the match.

WWE announced that Big Cass will need surgery and indicated that he could miss up to nine months from his injury that he suffered on Monday’s episode of RAW in his match against Enzo Amore.

Here is the announcement:

An initial MRI of Big Cass’ left knee shows that he will require surgery.

“It looks like he has an ACL tear, possibly a medial meniscus tear, but we’re going to wait for the radiologist to evaluate the MRI and give us their full report,” WWE ringside physician Dr. Chris Robinson said.

The seven-footer will be undergoing surgery this week to repair the damage, which will be the start of a long road back to the squared circle.

“A typical ACL tear takes about nine months [to recover from],” Robinson said.

Dave Meltzer discussed Ric Flair’s health situation on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio. Here are a couple of notes:

* Flair was taken to the hospital on Saturday morning after complaining about severe pain.

* Flair was then placed into medically induced coma and underwent colon surgery due to a blockage.

* While Flair came out of the surgery, his condition still remains serious.

* Flair is currently on kidney dialysis.

* Most of Monday was a bad situation and “not looking good at all” but the fact that he’s alive and recovering is a good sign.

We reported earlier today that Ric Flair’s surgery was a success. It was being speculated that Flair may have undergone a heart-related procedure, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Mean Gene Okerlund revealed on Facebook that Flair actually had colon surgery and it not heart related like originally speculated.

“I’ve heard nothing on the outcome of Ric Flairs colon surgery this afternoon but the outpouring of prayers and love re-enforce that he definitely is “THE MAN”.”
