It appears that WWE UK Superstar Tyler Bate will be appearing on tonight’s episode of 205 Live.

WWE posted footage of Bate backstage and mentioned that the new (unnamed) 205 Live General Manager has invited him to the show and it has something to do with the Cruiserweight Championship.

Samir Singh revealed on Instagram that he suffered a torn ACL during the angle on last week’s episode of SmackDown Live. The injury occurred at ringside angle during the Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal US Championship tournament match.

While Sing did not reveal how long he’s expected to be out of action for, it’s believe that it could be six to nine months for the recovery of that injury.

Last week I tore my ACL and it goes without saying that this past week has been very emotional. The more I think about it, the less it makes sense. All I know is that God is the sovereign of my life and that everything that comes to pass is his blessing. I thank you all for the continued love and support. I can’t wait to be back.

Ross welcomes PWTorch’s Wade Keller to the show to discuss Sunday’s Clash of Champion’s PPV.

Keller thought Clash of Champions was a fine show, but there weren’t any defining or memorable moments  that would have made a great show. The main event match between A.J. Styles and Jinder Mahal was okay, but not great, and the Daniel Bryan/Shane McMahon storyline failed to give viewers a big payoff.

Ross calls Charlotte the greatest women’s wrestler he’s ever seen, and he refers to her as the female version of 1980’s Hulk Hogan in the sense that she’s bigger, tanner and more impressive looking then all of her competition. Keller agrees and mentions that he expected Smackdown Live to be A.J. Styles & Charlotte’s brand when WWE conducted their Superstar shakeup months ago. Hopefully now that she’s holding the Women’s Title she can claim her rightful position as a major part of the show.

Ross asks Keller what he thinks about the ongoing Twitter dispute between Jim Cornette and several indie wrestlers, including The Young Bucks. Keller says that his views on how the business should be presented are more in line with Cornette’s, but he differs with Cornette in the sense that he wouldn’t want to ridicule someone for enjoying a different style of wrestling.

Vader, who was told by doctors that he only had two years left to live, has indicated to fans on Twitter that his “gloom and doom” diagnosis he received may have been inaccurate.

While speaking to metro.co.uk, Braun Strowman talked about the big spots he takes part in on WWE television and revealed that Vince McMahon has taken him on as his project.

“We have an unbelievable stunts and special effects crew. Everyone has their input. At the end of the day, a lot of it is Vince, he is very hands on with me and has taken me on as his project. He has some crazy ideas and I’ve never once questioned anything that Vince has wanted me to do, because I know he wouldn’t ask me to do something he wouldn’t do himself.”

Braun also talked about having the right look to succeed in WWE and mentioned that vince is very keen on larger than life Superstars.

“Vince is very keen on the larger than life human beings, especially because of the shock and awe value. Even before I was a WWE Superstar, when I walk into a room I don’t care who is in there, I take focal point. People stop what they’re doing to look at me when I walk in, and now they can put a name to it. That’s been a huge factor in WWE since the beginning of the company. It’s a huge favour for me that I’m larger than life and having these genetics and the look that Vince likes. But it’s more than a look, there’s a lot of guys that look big and tough but being able to put that into play in WWE is difficult. Being able to go out there night after night and work with people and not injuring and hurting people, that was a big thing when I first came in that I had beat into my head from developmental. I have to be one big strong rough and tough guy, but at the same time, I have to be safe. If I’m not safe no-one is going to want to work for me. Vince has seen how hard I want to be good at this, and how much I want to succeed. I’m going to be a WWE Hall of Famer when it’s all said and done, in my mind that’s what I want to do. I want to main event Wrestlemania, and I think that shows through to Vince, and is why he’s been in my corner, because he knows I want to be the best I can be. I’m not a fly by night guy, I want to be remembered forever as Braun Strowman, the monster among men.”

205 Live Superstar Rich Swann was arrested early this morning at 12:09 AM in Gainesville, Florida and charged with Kidnapping/False imprisonment.

In the state of Florida that charge is a third-degree felony and is punishable by up to five years and a $5,000 fine if convicted. Swann was also charged with Battery – touching or strike, which is a first degree misdemeanor. Penalties for that charge include a year in jail or 12 months probation and a $1,000 fine upon conviction.

Swann is currently incarcerated in Alachua County Jail, which has released the following mugshot photo:

Swann is scheduled to face Drew Gulak to determine the #1 contender for the WWE Cruiserweight championship on this Monday’s episode of RAW in Cleveland, Ohio. The match will likely be canceled as part of the fallout of this arrest.

It doesn’t appear that Austin Aries will be returning to WWE anytime soon, as he revealed that he recently signed a six-month deal with an indie promotion.

The former WWE Superstar appeared at Monday’s Defiant Wrestling event in front of a sold out crowd at the Newcastle O2 Academy. Aries confronted Defiant Wrestling Champion Marty Scurll and revealed that he signed a six-month contract with the company.

After the main event match, Aries teamed up with Mark Haskins and Chris Ridgeway to attack Martin Kirby and Scurll.

While appearing on Konnan’s podcast, former WWE Superstar Alberto El Patron confirmed reports that he had Paige have broken up.

El Patron claims the split was due to them living so far apart and not being able to see each other with their busy schedules. He also said “they” wouldn’t allow her to come to San Antonio, referring to WWE.

Patrom said the split happened weeks ago and their relationship had a lot of stress because they were always in-and-out of the media and they decided it was time to break up. This is why they never made an official announcement, according to El Patron. He also discussed how one of her friends uploaded a video of Paige mentioning being single to social media.
