WWE: जॉन मोक्सली (WWE में डीन एंब्रोज़ के नाम से मशहूर) को रेसलिंग की दुनिया में किसी परिचय की जरूरत नहीं है। मोक्सली ने 2011 से लेकर 2019 तक WWE में शानदार प्रदर्शन किया। 2019 से वह AEW के साथ जुड़े हुए हैं। डीन एंब्रोज़ (अब जॉन मोक्सली) ने WWE के अलावा कई अन्य प्रोफेशनल रेसलिंग कंपनियों में भी काम किया है। WWE के मेन रोस्टर ने 2012 में ‘द शील्ड’ ग्रुप को दर्शकों से रूबरू कराया था, जिसमें रोमन रेंस, सैथ रॉलिंस और डीन एंब्रोज़ शामिल थे। ये तीनों सुपरस्टार्स आज रेसलिंग इंडस्ट्री में अहम नाम बन चुके हैं।

जॉन मोक्सली इस समय AEW वर्ल्ड चैंपियनशिप अपने चौथे वर्ल्ड टाइटल रन में अपने पास रखे हुए हैं। उन्होंने यह चैंपियनशिप पिछले साल 12 अक्टूबर को WrestleDream इवेंट में जीती थी। चैंपियन बनने के बाद से मोक्सली ने कई खतरनाक मुकाबलों में अपना टाइटल शानदार तरीके से डिफेंड किया है। WWE के दिग्गज सुपरस्टार एज भी इस चैंपियनशिप को हासिल करने में नाकाम रहे। मोक्सली ने अब चैंपियनशिप के साथ 200 दिन पूरे कर लिए हैं और उन्होंने दो सौ दिनों का आंकड़ा पार कर लिया है।

AEW अपनी अगली इवेंट “बीच इंटरप्शन” का आयोजन 14 मई को करने जा रही है। इस इवेंट में मोक्सली का मुकाबला समोआ जो से होगा, जहां AEW वर्ल्ड चैंपियन का निर्धारण होगा। दोनों सुपरस्टार्स के बीच यह मुकाबला एक स्टील केज फाइट में होगा, जिसकी आधिकारिक घोषणा AEW कर चुकी है।

रिकॉर्ड्स बताते हैं कि जॉन मोक्सली ने AEW में अब तक चार बार वर्ल्ड चैंपियनशिप का खिताब अपने नाम किया है। टोनी खान ने इस एक ही उपलब्धि से यह साफ कर दिया कि उन्हें मोक्सली पर कितना भरोसा है। मोक्सली ने पहली बार यह टाइटल 29 फरवरी 2020 को जीता था और इसे 277 दिनों तक अपने पास रखा था।

When asked about the possible dream match of The Undertaker vs. Sting taking place at WrestleMania, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter mentioned that WWE probably wouldn’t clear Sting to wrestle another match for the company.

“The impression we have is that Sting probably can’t get cleared to wrestle. He’s already retired. I know that if he could wrestle,he would want that match.”

Sting has made it known in various interviews since his retirement that he would like to have a match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania. Sting’s WWE career was short lived after he suffered an injury against Seth Rollins a couple years back. Sting mentioned during a Q&A at The Wales Comic Con event in Wrexham last month that he doesn’t plan to have the surgery to repair the injury.

“The only reason I held off on the surgery is because I had guys like Stone Cold saying don’t do it. I don’t have any side effects? I can still work out and it doesn’t bother me, I don’t get a sore neck from sleeping or anything so why would I get surgery? If you don’t need it, don’t do it.”

Facing an intoxicated Jeff Hardy at TNA Victory Road 2011: “Jeff was in a bad way, he was deteriorating as the day went on, by the time our match rolled around it became clear that he couldn’t compete so I had to take him down quickly. He has since turned it all around, I love Jeff, I love his work, I hold nothing against him and wish him all the best.”

Favorite year in the business: “The transition from surfer Sting into the darker / Crow-like Sting in 1997. That was a good year. ”

Favorite TNA match: “The Empty Arena match with [Kurt] Angle. That was bizarre but also a lot of fun.”

Which championship win was his favorite: “The first one – against [Ric] Flair in 1990.”

Who hit him the hardest in the ring: “Leon White [Vader] . In the beginning he was really rough, he was fresh out of Japan. Give me credit, I was the one who tamed him.”

What it was like being in WCW amidst the jump of several WWE guys into the company: “I was very receptive of it. At the time I was the only one going on PR tours, UK, Japan, Europe. It was good to have Hogan for that. Savage, Hall and Nash were good at it too. It took a hell of a lot off my shoulders and it was going to boost the ratings so it was good for everyone.”

While taking part in a Q&A session at The Wales Comic Con event in Wrexham on Saturday, Sting was asked about reports of him postponing the required neck surgery he needs to have on final match in WWE. Sting would deny those claims and reveal exactly why he hasn’t got the surgery done yet.

“I have never said ‘one more match’ ever. I’d like to have one more match, I’d like to have that Undertaker match. The only reason I held off on the surgery is because I had guys like Stone Cold saying don’t do it.”

The Stinger continued, “I don’t have any side effects? I can still work out and it doesn’t bother me, I don’t get a sore neck from sleeping or anything so why would I get surgery? If you don’t need it, don’t do it.”

It’s being said Kurt Angle is rumored to be the playable legend character attached to the new WWE 2k18 video game. As unveiled earlier this week, Seth Rollins is going to be the poster-boy for the video game.

Traditionally there’s a pre-order exclusive character attached to every WWE 2k game every year. Some of the names that have been featured as pre-order bonuses are Goldberg, Sting and The Ultimate Warrior.

Adding Angle to the 2k18 roster will be extremely fruitful for the WWE has the former Olympic Gold Medalist has immense stardom attached to his name.
