It appears that Sami Zayn may be jumping ship to RAW in the coming weeks.

The Staples Center website is advertising Sami Zayn, who is an active SmackDown-brand Superstar, for the upcoming WWE No Mercy event on their website as a RAW Superstar. Here is what they wrote:

“WWE NO MERCY will broadcast from STAPLES Center on Sept 24th. This RAW exclusive PPV brings a day of reckoning to the City of Angels. See: Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Bayley, Braun Strowman, Sasha Banks. Finn Balor, The Miz, Alexa Bliss, Sami Zayn, The Hardy Boys, Cesaro and Sheamus, and many more RAW Superstars.”

It was rumored last via Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live that the word going around is that there will be another “Superstar Shakeup” on the September 11th episode of RAW. This could be an indication that Sami will be moved back to the RAW-brand.

John Cena is set to work the upcoming RAW-brand No Mercy event at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on September 24th, according to F4WOnline.

In addition to that event, Cena is also scheduled to work the August 27th RAW Live Event in Tupelo, MS against Samoa Joe. The rest of the RAW show is the same as they are doing everywhere.

Our correspondent at tonight’s RAW sent word that Steve Austin has been spotted at the Staples Center. He passed along the following photo:

As mentioned earlier today, WWE is printing “Los Angeles 3:16” t-shirts for tonight’s RAW. It’s being speculated that Austin could possibly be making an appearance on tonight’s show. Austin lives in the area and sometimes attends WWE shows and conducts interviews with the wrestlers for his podcast.
