It was reported a few weeks back that the communication between Neville and WWE were said to be positive and he could be headed back to the company.

In an update to that report, PWInsider reports that negotiations for Neville’s WWE return have been abruptly halted. Neville’s future with the company now has a big question mark next to it.

While speaking to The Trentonian, Daniel Bryan revealed that he has continued to get cleared to return to action and revealed that all his tests have came back fantastic.

“I’m trying to get cleared as we speak,” Bryan said. “All my tests have come back fantastic, better than people who have never had any concussion-type stuff. But it’s a weird thing. We’re in a weird situation politically with the climate around concussions; right now, it’s very difficult. WWE would love to have me back, but is that the smart thing for me as a business to bring me back? If I was to come back, and they let me back, would they get a lot of flak for it? They have a ton of stockholders that they’re responsible for. It’s more than just, ‘Is he healthy to do it?’”

He continued, “There’s more than that to the whole situation. All the concussion doctors think that I’m healthy enough to do it, and that I should be able to do it — well, I don’t want to say all of them, I’m sure there’s somebody out there who doesn’t think that — but there’s a lot more than goes into it than just that. That’s the unfortunate situation with giant corporations and big business in the United States.”

Bryan hasn’t wrestled in the WWE since April of 2015. He has expressed in multiple interviews that once his contract is up, he will be leaving the company if they don’t allow him to perform.

As previously reported, both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were both kicked off the on-going UK Tour and sent back to the United States. While Pro Wrestling Sheet reported that the decision had to do with the Owens & Sami refusing to “feed” for the New Day, it appears there is more to the story than that.

PWInsider reports that there was also an an incident on the our bus with Kevin Owens. Apparently Owens was complaining loudly on the bus after the taping and this didn’t sit well with individuals on the bus. This was “the last straw following a long few days of touring.”

Another individual who was on the bus said that Owens was “just venting” and that it wasn’t a major issue, but that the situation at television tapngs may have exacerbated the situation, forcing WWE’s hand.

While speaking to Hannibal TV, Sid Vicious discussed how Hulk Hogan’s behavior led him to leave WWE in 1992. According to Sid, fans had begun booing Hogan at the 1992 Royal Rumble, which angered Hogan. He blamed Vince McMahon for the reaction, causing Vicious to be fed up with the situation.

“He [Hogan] is putting on like a woman, screaming at Vince like Vince planned for him to get booed,” Vicious said. “I went to Vince’s office and I said, ‘Vince, I can’t work in a place where a grown man acts like this.’ I said, ‘I’m going home, I’m done.’”

Dave Meltzer discussed Ric Flair’s health situation on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio. Here are a couple of notes:

* Flair was taken to the hospital on Saturday morning after complaining about severe pain.

* Flair was then placed into medically induced coma and underwent colon surgery due to a blockage.

* While Flair came out of the surgery, his condition still remains serious.

* Flair is currently on kidney dialysis.

* Most of Monday was a bad situation and “not looking good at all” but the fact that he’s alive and recovering is a good sign.

Jeff Jarrett held conference call today and addressed the allegations of Alberto El Patron’s domestic violence situation that he is currently involved in. Here are a few highlights:

• Jeff Jarrett said the situation with Alberto is unfortunate. They are “digging into this matter”
• Jarrett said he is picking brains of NFL and NHL coaches/personal regarding Alberto situation. It’s a case by case basis when dealing athletes.
• When a caller asked if they were going to edit Patron off episodes of Impact, they snubbed the caller and moved on to the next question.
• When asked about if the GFW title is currently vacant, Jarrett wouldn’t comment much on it as there is currently an investigation going on. He stated the title is the least of importance in regards to this situation.
• Jarrett says he has been in contact with Alberto and his representatives. Jarrett says its a ‘priority’ to keep top guys with the company.”

As reported earlier, WWE might be planning to split The Hype Bros after last night’s Battle Royale spot which saw Mojo Rawley eliminating Zack Ryder. Ryder was visibly disappointed over his elimination from the Battle Royale by his own best friend.

The Broski took to Twitter to react to his best friend’s betrayal:

Russo was avoiding this discussion and he had no intention of talking about this on his show, but after multiple false reports from wrestling ‘journalists’, he thought he had to clear the air and get the true story out there once and for all.

Speaking about the wrestling ‘journalists’, he points out that not one of them reached out to him to get the actual story after this news broke. Instead, they all took the news and gave their own biased spin on it, which is the polar opposite of respectable journalism. This proved the point that he’s been saying for years, that if you’re paying for the opinions of these guys, you’re wasting your money.

Getting into the heart of the situation, Russo says that he has been ridiculed by Jim Cornette for over two decades. It has been a constant battle between him and Cornette, but in the past couple of weeks Cornette took things to an entirely new level by threatening violence on him and his family.

He says that he only lives roughly two hours from Cornette now, and his wife is often home alone. She was quite upset after Cornette’s recent rant, and Russo felt it was necessary to take matters into his own hands by getting this Order of Protection. Hopefully this allows his wife to relax, and keeps Cornette out of their business for the foreseeable future.
