While speaking with TMZ, Ronda Rousey denied reports that she will be participating in the Women’s Royal Rumble match this Sunday and revealed that she will be shooting a movie instead.

“I’m actually leaving to Colombia right now to finish shooting ‘Mile 22’ and won’t be back until mid February,” said the former UFC Fighter.

Ronda also mentioned that she has not signed a contract with WWE.

It doesn’t appear that Austin Aries will be returning to WWE anytime soon, as he revealed that he recently signed a six-month deal with an indie promotion.

The former WWE Superstar appeared at Monday’s Defiant Wrestling event in front of a sold out crowd at the Newcastle O2 Academy. Aries confronted Defiant Wrestling Champion Marty Scurll and revealed that he signed a six-month contract with the company.

After the main event match, Aries teamed up with Mark Haskins and Chris Ridgeway to attack Martin Kirby and Scurll.
