As seen on WWE television lately, The New Day, Sasha banks and Akira Tozawa all had very short championship title reigns.

Dave Meltzer discussed on the recently changes on the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio mentioned that Vince McMahon is in one of his phases where he wants to do quick title changes as often as possible. In all three cases, it’s clear that Vince wanted the heels as champions and only had them drop the title on television to get people talking.

It doesn’t look like Tommaso Ciampa will be returning to action anytime this year.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Ciampa is expected to be out of action until early 2018. The Medical exam given to WWE indicates that he will be out of action until March 2018.

Ciampa was last seen on WWE television on the May 31st episode of NXT when he explained why he turned on Johnny Gargano at Takeover: Chicago. It was reported by PWInsider that he suffered a torn ACL.
