Madusa revealed on Instagram that she has undergone knee replacement surgery. He posted a video of herself at the hospital

“Well peeps, here we go again,” the WWE Hall of Famer says. “Round two of a full knee replacement.”

WWE has released NXT Superstar HoHo Lun, according to an exclusive report by WrestlingInc.

Lun was part of the WWE Cruiserweight Classic and defeated Ariya Daivari in the first round of the tournament but we eliminated in the second round. Since then he has worked a few NXT television tapings, most recently losing to The Velveteen Dream. WWE also used him for NXT Live Events.

As previously noted, WWE is making budget cuts in order to increase their bottom line profit margin. It was rumored that the company may be making a few roster cuts.

Here are some notes regarding the show, courtesy of PWInsider:

WWE has already locked in a number of talents for the tournament. There is expected to be around 32-women total. The WWE Network will feature a preview special for the tournament on August 20th. The first round of the tournament will be released on VOD the following week. The second round of the tournament will release the week after that, which is the first week of September. The finals of the live special are expected to air on Tuesday September 12th. SmackDown runs that night in Las Vegas and it’s being speculated that they could hold the finals there, instead of Orlando. ]]>
