Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Impact Wrestling fired Hania after she refused to do a 90-second job to newcomer Su Yung at the recent set of Impact television tapings in Orlando, Florida.

Hania made her Impact Wrestling debut back on November 10th, 2017, at a television taping in Ottawa, Ontario, where she attacked Rosemary following “The Demon Assassin”‘s victory over KC Spinelli.

Jeremy Borash tweeted news of her arrival and the angle actually aired on last night’s episode of Impact Wrestling.

Hania worked three matches at the recent set of tapings. She faced off against Amber Nova at the January 10th tapings and had matches with Rosemary the next two nights.

* Xposion: Rohit Raju defeated unknown talent.

* Fantasma defeats Braxton Sutter. After the match, Sutter cuts a promo and mentioned that Allie isn’t out there because she ruins lives. Sutter says he’s the biggest star the company has ever seen and gets nothing for it. Brian Cage comes out and destroys Sutter.

* Rosemary defeats Hania. After the match, Rosemary cuts an in-ring promo and says Hania is just a puppy dog. The Demon Assasin is still the alpha. She is taking back what rightfully belongs to the shadow. “We want that KO championship.” Taya is out to confront Rosemary. Taya tells Rosemary she finds what she has to say hilarious. Taya says she is lucha royalty and the star of the show. Taya attacks Rosemary and lays her out on the ramp.

* KM walks the Knockout’s title down the ramp and then introduces LVN. KM says he’s an ordained minister and will marrying LVN and the title. KM says “It’s 2018 and that’s a real thing.” Sutter out to object. Cage tried to kill him and he saw what was most important, it was LVN. A year ago he made the biggest mistake of his life. Allie ruins lives. Sutter proposes that he, LVN, and the title spend their lives together. LVN says no. KM says “Epic fail, bro!” Allie comes out to object and beats down LVN. Allie stands tall to end the segment.

* Kongo Kong w/Jimmy Jacobs are out. Jacobs asked Park kindly to bring Abyss. Grandma Jenny Park comes out. She’s had enough of the way they’ve treated Joseph. They need to stop or else. Joseph Park out to confront Kong. Told the world Abyss is never coming back. Jacobs says Chandler was the beginning and would hate it if something happened to Grandma Jenny. Kong attacks Joseph.

GFW’s Global Wrestling Network Goes Live

GFW has launched its new streaming service, Global Wrestling Network. The streaming service is live now, and a video featuring Josh Mathews lists the streaming service at $5.99 per month, and that includes archived GFW, Impact, and TNA content, discounts on PPVs, merchandise discounts, and “coming soon”, material from international partner promotions.

Currently, the service lists the following content:

• Old Impact Wrestling episodes
• Old TNA PPVs from 2004-2017
• Old One Night Only PPVs
• Both seasons of British Botcamp
• Unfinished Business PPV series
• TNA Legends series
• TNA Greatest Matches series

Currently, the network is only available via Apple App Store and Google Play stores. According to the video, the service will come soon to Roku, X-Box, and FireTV.

What’s kind of odd is that the FAQ page of the site only lists the service as available in the UK and Ireland. Hmmm…

Rosemary Cleared For In-Ring Action

After being injured at the hands of Sexy Star last month at AAA’s TripleMania, it’s being reported that Rosemary is now cleared to get back in the ring. She will be wrestling indie dates this weekend.

Via Twitter, Rosemary had the following to say about coming back from her injury:

Today is a good day, Hivelings.. the doctor is pleased with the range of motion and strength/resistance for our bicep/tricep. We have been cleared to return to the ring.. meaning neither injury nor hurricane could keep us from raising Hell @RISEdtwa this weekend.

Sexy Star recently spoke with Pro Wrestling 24/7 about the incident with Rosemary at TripleMania. Here are some highlights from the interview:

If the injury to Rosemary was purposely done: “No, never. I’ve been in this sport for 11 years and I will be the first one to be against those type of things, so I [would] never do that.”

If there was a confrontation backstage that transferred over to the ring: “No. Nothing happened in the back in the locker rooms, we just did what we usually do. Also, Rosemary was not in the same locker room as mine, so I don’t know why they are saying that.”

If peers and wrestling fans jumped to conclusions too quickly: “Yes, they just took the first impression after the show ended. I didn’t know anything about that until the next day I got on my social media, and the news started calling me and asking me. But maybe it was my mistake because I stood quiet and I didn’t talk to anyone.”

As we have been reporting, there was an incident during a match at this past weekend’s AAA TripleMania involving Global Force Wrestling’s Rosemary and AAA and Lucha Underground’s Sexy Star. At the end of their match, Sexy Star refused to release an arm bar, causing a legitimate injury to Rosemary. What was originally believed to be a torn bicep has now been diagnosed as a sprain/muscle strain, and Rosemary won’t suffer a significant amount of time away from the ring.

Well, today, Sexy Star gave her first statement on the incident.

“These days have been very difficult for me. On Saturday I had a championship fight; Was very hard. I think it all went out of hand. I do not know, it’s a situation that right now I’m a bit confused. I want to be silent and when I feel it is time, touch the subject. Men, women, they want to finish me; Retire from this sport. I’m here; As I said at the outset: I will not stop, on behalf of all women who have been mistreated, physically or psychologically. I think I have to be stronger. If at that moment I went through a depression and left, I will leave this one too. I was doing what I had to do, what people deserve, give me a claw until the end. That happened, I gave it up. It seems that the girl is injured; I do not know, I do not know. Is the only that i can say.”

I am really not sure what Sexy Star is trying to say, but it sure doesn’t sound like she regrets her actions.

Rosemary, the former Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion, wrote her final message regarding the incident involving Sexy Star at AAA’s TripleMania event in Mexico last Saturday. As Top Rope Press reported, Sexy Star legitimately injured Rosemary’s arm while hooking an armbar and wouldn’t release the hold despite the former Knockouts Champion tapping. On Tuesday night, Rosemary issued another statement regarding the incident, the injury, the need to move on, and positive energy in the professional wrestling industry.

Rosemary wrote:

This will be the last I will say on the matter before we go back to our regularly scheduled demonic possession. What happened has happened and it’s been too much time already spent in the mortal realm as it is.

My injury is thankfully less severe than anticipated (and certainly much less than has been reported some places). Strained tricep/bicep with swelling around the area. Returning to the ring will come when the doc is happy with my strength and range of motion, but I am optimistic that time lost will be minimal.

Can we all take on thing from this entire messy situation: that no matter what is going on in our personal lives, we need to take CARE of each other out there, and I’m not just talking about in the ring. And if you screw up (and we all do), own up to it. Let’s stop making excuses and take accountability for our actions.

Thank you so much to everyone who reached out and checked on me; I haven’t even been able to read them all yet. With such an outpouring of love and positivity from people, I would like to pay that forward and turn a positive light on what came out of this weekend of wrestling: Eddie Edwards made history when he won the GHC Heavyweight title at NOAH, becoming the first gaijin to do so, and both DJZ and Andrew Everett had INCREDIBLE showings while tagging at Triplemania after both recently having surgeries. So let’s try to put some positive energies back into this word of professional wrestling that I love so much and move on from this.

Lucha Underground and AAA wrestler Sexy Star has been removed from an upcoming wrestling show in the United States following her incident with Global Force Wrestling (GFW) wrestler Rosemary. As Top Rope Press reported during the weekend, Sexy Star legitimately injured Rosemary’s arm when the Mexican wrestler had an armbar on the former TNA/GFW Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion. Rosemary was seen immediately tapping to the armbar but Sexy Star would not release the hold. Twenty-four hours after the match, Rosemary released a statement criticizing Sexy Star’s professionalism.

Sexy Star was scheduled to appear at a WrestleCade event in November, but the company announced she’s been removed from attending their WrestleCade Weekend. The official statement reads:

The WrestleCade Team has read the online reports, watched the video, and saw both deleted & still posted tweets regarding the incident between Sexy Star & Rosemary at this weekends AAA’s TripleMania Event. We now have heard from Rosemary who said it was obvious to her that Sexy Star tried to intentionally injure her after their match ended.

There is no place for this in professional wrestling. Therefore we have made the decision NOT to bring Sexy Star to WrestleCade Weekend. We’re sorry for the fans who were looking forward to meeting her but we encourage you to read the reports and we hope you’ll agree with our decision.

Anyone who ordered meet and greet tickets in advance will be receiving refunds ASAP.

As reported earlier today by Top Rope Press, Impact Knockout Rosemary was legitimately injured by Lucha Underground’s Sexy Star in a match at TripleMania XXV Saturday night. At the end of the match, Sexy Star put Rosemary into an armbar and refused to release the hold even after the match was called. There are no additional updates on the status of Rosemary’s injury, but she’s taken to Twitter to offer her side of the story.

In a series of screenshots on a tweet that simply states, “24 hours removed..,” Rosemary had this to say:

“Let me make this perfectly clear: if you take liberties with someone’s body when they are giving it to you and trusting you to keep them safe, you are not tough. You are an asshole. And you don’t belong in this business.”

At one point, Lucha Underground Co-Executive Producer Chris DeJoseph hinted on Twitter there was more than one side to the story. Though his account has since been protected, a search of his mentions turns up replies to the original tweet, including one fan hoping for a GFW-LU feud. With Johnny Mundo and Taya both debuting on Impact this month, the move would have made sense, but Rosemary’s statement seems to firmly squash the idea that the incident was anything but intentional and fully legitimate.

It’s always a shame when a wrestler is injured, but the idea that another wrestler would intentionally harm someone and put their career and income at risk, especially at a show with as many eyes on it as TripleMania, is deeply upsetting. There’s been no official response from Lucha Underground or El Rey Network, but with several of its current stars – including Taya Valkyrie – speaking out in Rosemary’s defense, it will be interesting to see if Sexy Star returns for its fourth season, and in what way she’s made to part ways with the Temple if she doesn’t.

Rosemary Injured By Sexy Star

During last night’s AAA TripleMania, Global Force Wrestling star Rosemary was legitimately injured by Sexy Star during their match. Sexy Star put Rosemary in an armbar, and apparently went into business for herself, refusing to release the hold even after the match was over and the ref called for the bell.

Sexy Star and Lady Shani were said to be legit shooting on each other during the match, and after all was said and done, the fight almost continued backstage, where the atmosphere was said to be tense. Vampiro reportedly had Sexy Star apologize to Rosemary and then removed her from the arena.

At this time, all that is known about Rosemary’s injury is that there is considerable swelling and bruising around her elbow, and it’s feared she suffered a triceps tear. She will be getting more tests done when she returns to the States.

ROH Death Before Dishonor Main Event Set

It’s been announced that Cody Rhodes will be defending his Ring Of Honor World Title against NJPW’s NEVER Openweight Champion Minoru Suzuki at next month’s Death Before Dishonor. We reported last week that MiSu will be appearing on the show, as well as the subsequent television tapings.

Personally, I am not looking forward to seeing someone like Suzuki lose to Cody, but hopefully, this will be a tool to further the feud between SZKG and The Bullet Club that we saw start during the G1 Climax tournament. Meaning, hopefully MiSu loses to shenanigans, not clean.
