Enzo Amore recently spoke with The Sun. Here are some highlights from the interview:

Thoughts on Neville: “Neville is one of my favourite pros in the business. He carried NXT with that title and was a tag-team champion there. Then he worked the 205 division with the hardest schedule in silence, he was working Friday, Saturday and Sunday and then Mondays and Tuesdays.

Why he wants him to come back: “When guys were catching red-eye flights from the west coast after Raw, Neville was driving on to the next town or taking an early morning flight. It’s the hardest schedule in pro wrestling because you are closing out 205 at the end of the week. I hope Neville comes back and we feud. I have never seen a guy work like he does. He might move better than anyone has ever moved in a ring – like the Dynamite Kid. I have seen him tear it up in matches that no one will ever see – absolute bangers – I would love to move around with him because that dude can dance.”

Traveling with Neville, Braun Strowman, and Big Cass and their music tastes: “I travel on my own and try to I float along to music. I travelled with Neville, he is my road dog, we travelled on NXT and FCW before that. He opened my eyes to a whole genre of music in reggae. And then I travel with Braun, who is introducing me to country music. And Big Cass was all about Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen.”

Footage of Paige’s injury when she got kicked in the face by Sasha Banks at Wednesday’s WWE Live Event in Long Island, NY has surfaced online, which you can see below:

PWInsider reports that Absolution was scheduled to go over in the match which ended up being called off due to Paige being hurt.

Paige is being evaluated today and she’s been taken off the road for precautionary measures. We will keep you updated on her status.

Russo is joined on today’s show by his co-host Jeff Lane and Stevie Richards.

Russo thinks the deterioration of RAW over the last few years has a lot to do with Vince McMahon’s inability to write a consistent wrestling show. When Russo wrote for WWE back in the day, McMahon would often take Russo’s script and add some subtleties to it in order to make it better. McMahon was very good at adding the finishing touches to scripts, but he’s unable to write shows from start to finish week after week.

Russo mentions that not only will WWE Superstars have to perform live on RAW tonight on Christmas Day, WWE recently announced a tour from Dec. 25th-Dec. 30th so these performers are going to be on the road from now until New Years Day. He thinks that’s completely unnecessary and he doesn’t understand why WWE just didn’t tape RAW for this week.

Richards agrees with that, and points out that the Christmas season has become all about greed, with large companies and corporations taking advantage of their employees in order to boost their bottom line at this time of the year.

While speaking to Cerrito Live, James Storm was asked about possibly returning to NXT and mentioned it’s definitely a possibility that he could return to that brand.

“People always say, ‘main roster or bust type of guy,’ but if you look at NXT, it’s one of the hottest things going right now no matter what people say. And it’s one of those things where anybody would be proud to be signed to NXT and have a good run there. I mean, it’s plain and simple. They are doing as much as the people on the main roster is on the road and stuff like that right now. So, I mean, I’d definitely go and work with those guys and help them out as best I can.”

Storm also talked about his next move and revealed that he wants to keep it under wraps and make it a surprise.

“There are a lot of companies and the funny thing is that I’m now free to talk and negotiate with other companies and actually go work for other companies. But right now, I think I kind of want to keep it under wraps, make it a surprise where old James Storm pops up.”

Storm explained, “I just want to be a surprise because today, especially in our social media world, there [are] not that many surprises anymore. And because everybody wants to be cool and I always say, ‘people are wrestling for the likes and the retweets’ or GIFS, whatever they call those things these days. But to me, I always try to keep stuff kayfabe and keep stuff secret until it happens or whatever, so it’s even cooler when it’s a surprise.”

As previously reported, Nia Jax has been given a leave of absence from WWE for personal reasons. It’s unknown exactly what those reasons are or when she is expected back. PWInsider originally reported that her Total Diva obligations would not be affected moving forward, but that doesn’t appear to be the case anymore.

In an update, Jax was scheduled to film new material for the upcoming season of Total Divas in New York City this Thursday and Friday. According to a source in the production crew, those plans were scrapped and she’s no longer doing any filming this week.

Jax remains off the road for future dates she was scheduled to work for WWE. Attempts have been made to WWE for an comment, but no word has been sent back.

Dave Meltzer speculated on Wrestling Observer Radio that Nia Jax will go over Alexa Bliss on next week’s episode of RAW in a non-title match and he expects Bliss to retain the title at the upcoming WWE No Mercy event. The belief is that the fallout from these two matches will set up their singles match for the RAW Women’s Championship later down the road.

Speaking of the RAW women’s division, Bryan Alvarez indicated that WWE may be overhauling the entire division because of Asuka’s debut is on the horizon and/or Paige could possibly returning soon. This could be one of the reasons WWE is rushing to do a program with Bliss and Jax, so that they can get it out of the way.

Smackdown Ring Announcer Greg Hamilton kept fans up-to-date on social media as he, Byron Saxton, Mike Rome and Dasha Fuentes left Florida to catch their flights for next week’s RAW & SmackDown Live in Atlanta. Hamilton posted three videos — one before leaving, on the road and a final one when they made it to their destination.

As previously noted, Paige was not a part of the upcoming season because she hasn’t been on the road with the company due to her neck injuries. It is still possible that she becomes a cast regular again upon her return to WWE, that is if she returns. Her status with the company appears to be up in the air given the drama that has surrounded her personal life lately. She was suspended for a wellness violation, involved in sex tape scandal and may be facing battery charges for an assault on her boyfriend at an airport.

Shawn Michaels indicated on Twitter that he will be working the NXT Live Events this weekend in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

According to WWE, Hall of Famer Harley Race has broke both his legs in a fall this past week. Here is an excerpt from their report:

WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race has broken both legs after a fall in his home in Troy, Mo. on Tuesday, WWE.com has learned.

Race sustained a fracture to his right femur and suffered breaks in his left fibula and tibia, as well as a spiral break of his left ankle. The WWE Hall of Famer required emergency surgery to relieve the swelling in both legs late Tuesday night. He subsequently received four blood transfusions and underwent surgery on Friday to reset the fractures.

WWE wishes Harley Race the best on the road to recovery.
