Welcome to the merriest episode of Monday Night Raw ever! And we hope you’re having a great Christmas!

Tonight’s festive Raw will feature the return of the 16-time WWE World Champion, John Cena. It’s unclear if Cena is back for an extended period of time, or if this is a simple one-off appearance, but either way it ill be fun to see Cena back in a Raw ring.

The Royal Rumble is less than a month away and last week we got the historic announcement that there would be a women’s Rumble match in 2018! Now that we’ve got the two matches set, it’s time to start getting entrants. Personally I think entering a Rumble should be earned and something fought for, not just assumed. Like qualifying matches etc., whereas there’s little build-up because we all know Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Bray Wyatt will be there. Regardless, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Cena announce his appearance in the upcoming Rumble match, which he’s currently a favourite to win.

Elsewhere on tonight’s Raw, The Bar battle Rollins and Ambrose for momentum, again, and Braun Strowman continues to butt-heads with Kane ahead of their huge match with Brock Lesnar. Welcome to the fastest hour on television, 205 Live!

TLC is this Sunday and we have two Cruiserweight matches lined-up for the show – if I’m not mistaken that’s a first for the division. Cedric Alexander has found himself on the losing side of a battle with Jack Gallagher and Brian Kendrick as of late but he’s suddenly found himself a partner in the form of Rich Swann. These two teams will do battle at TLC on the Kick-Off show this Sunday, but I expect some more fireworks tonight as both teams look for some last minute momentum.

A week after losing his Cruiserweight Championship to Kalisto, Enzo Amore returned to Raw and berated the new Champion before having him beat-down thanks to the help of Noam Dar, Tony Nese, Drew Gulak, and Ariya Daivari. It’s unclear why these guys helped Enzo, a couple of weeks after beating him to a pulp. Regardless, Enzo finally has some friends in the division and that should help him in his quest to regain the Championship from Kalisto this Sunday. Mustafa Ali came to the rescue of Kalisto but he too was beaten down, which leads me to believe that we’re going to get a big Survivor Series match between the babyfaces and the heels of 205 Live. Welcome to the fastest hour on television, 205 Live!

Enzo Amore has wasted no time establishing himself on the main roster, as he’s scored a victory over Noam Dar and multiple tag team wins. However, Neville informed the team last night that they would battle Tony Nese and former WWE Cruiserweight Champion The Brian Kendrick in a Fatal 5-Way Elimination Match to decide who will challenge The King of the Crusierweights at WWE No Mercy. Who will walk into No Mercy as Neville’s latest foe? We will find out tonight!

Also on 205 Live, TJP has been stumbling around on crutches for weeks now but suddenly found himself cured last week, when he clobbered Ariya Daivari and even managed to dab. Rich Swann, like the WWE Universe, was shocked by the miraculous healing of TJP and now he has some questions to answer on tonight’s 205 Live!

Welcome to the fastest hour on television, 205 Live!

WWE seems to be painting a picture that Akira Tozawa is over-exerting himself and is too injured to compete. This was teased last week but then on last night’s Raw Tozawa was having his shoulder badly beaten by Ariya Daivari when Titus O’Neil threw the proverbial towel in. Tozawa was furious but was it the right call? Tozawa will likely look to compete tonight and either Neville or Daivari will again look to tackle the injured shoulder!

Elsewhere on tonight’s show, the saga between Drew Gulak and Mustafa Ali seems to be drawing to a close. For a few months the two have battled over ideology about how wrestling should be, and even traded wins and losses. Well tonight the two will battle in a 2-Out-Of-3-Falls match to determine who is right and if high-flying is the way to go, or best left in the past!

Welcome to the fastest hour on television, 205 Live!

Tonight’s show takes place on the patriotic 4th of July and we’re less than a week away from Great Balls of Fire. The Cruiserweight Champion, Neville, puts his title on the line against the formidable Akira Tozawa on the GBF kick-off show. Last night on Raw Neville obliterated Mustafa Ali and sent a clear message to Tozawa: no-one is on the Neville level. WWE.Com is teasing that Neville will look to send another message on tonight’s show, perhaps against Tozawa himself.

The only other preview for tonight’s show pertains to Alicia Fox, Noam Dar, and Cedric Alexander. Yes, I know, the feud that will not die. WWE’s writers seem to have little to no interest in 205 Live, hence why feuds last for a very long time and revolve around some small issue that never gets resolved. Thankfully the in-ring action is usually pretty great and that makes it worth watching, that being said this feud needs to come to an end and Alexander can move on to something much more worth his time.
