Lince Dorado Injured?

According to live reports from last night’s RAW, Lince Dorado appeared to have suffered some kind of injury during the taping of WWE Main Event. Dorado worked against Drew Gulak and appeared (again, according to reports) to have landed badly on his knee after taking a tilt-a-whirl. The following was posted on Dorado’s Instagram account earlier today:

Dorado lost to Gulak, by the way. The only other match taped for Main Event saw Heath Slater and Rhyno defeat Curt Hawkins and Bo Dallas.

Russo Responds to Cornette & Bischoff

In case you didn’t watch it, last night’s “Table For 3” on WWE Network featured Michael Hayes, Jim Cornette and Eric Bischoff. On the whole, given the potential, I felt it was disappointing. Honestly, the most interesting thing may have been Hayes stumping for a Roman Reigns vs. John Cena match at WrestleMania.

But the former adversaries Bischoff and Cornette being at the same table was newsworthy. According to Cornette, it was the first time the two were face to face since 1995. Turns out that their mutual hate for another former booker, that being Vince Russo, turned into a bit of a bonding experience between the two. Not much was said regarding Russo, except the fact that neither liked him. Of course, this led Russo to respond.

Russo, whose opinions are generally terrible, is referring to the “This Is Your Life” segment that aired on RAW in September of 1999 (when he was at peak creative power in WWE) with Mick Foley and The Rock. Russo likes to refer to this as the most watched segment in the history of RAW, but that’s actually inaccurate. Something else that should be put to bed is that the Foley & Rock segment was actually very bad. In essence, it was a near half-hour long “pump fake” on a Foley heel turn we never got. Having two of the top performers of the era (and really, all-time) was enough to redeem in it in some eyes. Too bad Alexa Bliss (who did her best last night) couldn’t do the same 18 years later.

For the record, I don’t mind heel Goldust. Russo taking credit for that character seems a bit “rich” though seeing as Dustin Runnels was near his nadir as a performer in 1999.

No DIVES – Orton Gives Stepson RKO

Apparently, Randy Orton takes this “no dives” thing pretty seriously! When his stepson attempted to do one in a pool, he was met with an RKO. This was pretty funny.
