Bradley Cooper has been offered to portray the role of Vince McMahon in the upcoming “Pandemonium” biopic.

PWInsider reports that the offer was made just a few weeks back but there is no indication yet if Cooper is actually interested in accepting the role. The belief is if a big name excepts the role early on, it could push the film production along at a much faster pace.

The script to Pandemonium was written by Craig A and is being put together by TriStar and WWE Studios. Once WWE Studios became involved with the project, the existing script was expected to undergo heavy rewrites to remove some of aspects of the film that the McMahon family would not be happy with.

Dave Meltzer discussed the plans for a weekly UK television show on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer said that he was told five days ago that there are still plans for a weekly show despite the project being sidelined due to budget costs.

Originally the idea was to have the weekly series kick off back in June, but that never happened. As of this writing there are no dates for tapings confirmed but they idea is to have the weekly series up and going by the end of the year.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything new regarding the status of the UK division and the planned weekly show.

Ross opens today’s show speaking about the recent injuries to Bayley and Scott Dawson. He says that injuries never come at a good time, and the key is returning with a vengeance. If you suffer an injury like this you have to get better everyday you’re off, by either watching tape or training if possible. Ross truly believes both of these talents will come back better than before they left.

Ross informs that he started recording his audio book this past week and just as he expected, he’s really struggling with it. The guys who are helping him and listening to him love the work he did, but he really struggled to get through it. It was very difficult stirring up all those memories once again, and he always hated the way he sounded, so this project has become quite difficult for him. Nontheless, he says his book is very raw and very real.

Ross says that he hasn’t heard from WWE lately concerning the planned WWE Network UK special. He says that the project is still highly regarded in WWE and it certainly still has a pulse. He believes it’s just a matter of time before it sees the light of day on the WWE Network.

He believes that the two SummerSlam main events have a chance to be special. The important thing about these matches according to Ross is that the losers have to get over as well as the winners. The Fatal 4-way allows plenty of room for all four men to get their stuff in and shine, and the WWE Championship match between Orton and Mahal should be presented in a way where both men come out stronger than they went in.
