There were a couple of changes made to Monday’s episode of RAW from Green Bay.

According to PWInsider, the company was planning on having Sasha Banks face Bayley in singles action to determine the leader of Team RAW for the upcoming 5 vs. 5 Women’s match at Survivor Series. That match was switch to a three way with the addition of Alicia Fox, who actually ended up winning the match to become the captain of the team.

Also, the 10-man cruiserweight tag match on the show was scheduled to be an elimination style match, but those plans were change possibly due to time restraints.

It was reported over the weekend via Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline that WWE has been planning for Universal Champion Brock Lesnar to face WWE Champion Jinder Mahal in a non-title match at the upcoming Survivor Series event.

Meltzer discussed the match on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio and said that WWE has been planning this idea for a long time. Meltzer added that there may be more RAW vs. SmackDown matches at the show but didn’t elaborate which matches those could be.

WWE Survivor Series will take place on November 19, 2017 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. As always, we will be providing live play-by-play coverage of the event.

Jim Cornette is already done with Impact Wrestling, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer.

It’s being said that there is no heat between Anthem and Cornette. Cornette agreed to work one set of television tapings but Jeff Jarrett had asked him to work another set and the upcoming Bound for Glory event. Cornette is unable to travel to Canada and won’t be used at the upcoming Bound for Glory show.

The creative team is now being ran by Scott D’Amore and Sonjay Dutt now that Jarrett is no longer around. They are planning on focusing more on the in-ring action and less on authority figure angles, which is what Cornette was brought in for.

Cornette has agreed to go to Nashville and tape whatever storyline they needed for his exit. Nothing right now is set in that regard.

Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin reported on the latest installment of Wrestling Sheet Radio that WWE is planning a “first-ever” match for the upcoming Hell in a Cell event.

“From what I’ve been told, the internal plan right now is they are pushing toward a tag-team Hell in a Cell,” said Satin.

Ryan would then reveal that the match would see The New Day defending the SmackDown Tag Team Championship titles against The Usos.

PWInsider reports that WWE is planning to have Roman Reigns face John Cena at the upcoming WWE No Mercy event.

The match was originally rumored to take place at WrestleMania, however WWE is deciding to pull the trigger and fast track the match. It was reported last week that Vince McMahon wanted to move Cena to RAW to help give Roman a rub as the top guy of the company. This probably played a role in the match being moved up.

WWE No Mercy will take place on September 24, 2017 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. As always, we will have live play-by-play coverage of the event.
