WWE released a Photo Shoot interview with The Miz where he talked about several topics. One interesting note discussed on his appearance was when he talked about the events that led up to him roasting Daniel Bryan on an episode of Talking Smack and what transpired beforehand.

“There were a lot of emotions going on here. This wasn’t just to Daniel; this was like, to everyone. I unleashed a lot because Creative had nothing for me that day, and I went, ‘What?’ They were like ‘Yeah, you’re not on the show tonight.’ What do you mean I’m not on the show? I’m the Intercontinental Champion. They were like, ‘Yeah, but we’re introducing new titles, we’re introducing the new Tag Team Titles and the new SmackDown Women’s Title, and so, we don’t have room for the Intercontinental Championship.’ I was like ‘Wait a second, you’re introducing new titles, but what about the rich history of this title? The title that you guys just keep throwing back, and throwing back, and throwing back. Burying it, burying it, and burying it, and I’m sick [of it].’ I was so aggravated, I was so sick of it. And I was like, ‘Put me on Talking Smack tonight, I’m going to unleash havoc on everything and everyone.’”

Bryan Alvarez discussed Paige’s status on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Live and speculated that Paige could possibly be the fifth member on the Women’s SmackDown Team at this Sunday’s Survivor Series event.

Alvarez mentioned Paige was scheduled at one point to be part of the RAW Women’s Team and WWE brought her in this past Monday. The company ended up changing plans before the show and Paige was no longer factored into the RAW Women’s Team. Alvarez speculated that open spot on the SmackDown Women’s team could be for Paige.

Regarding the photo of her with Alicia Fox that was posted prior to RAW, Alvarez mentioned that the photo was actually taken days before it surfaced on Instagram.

Editors note: It’s very possible that creative changed their plans for Paige’s return after they decided they were going to put the SmackDown Women’s Championship on Charlotte. It seems very unlikely that WWE would nix Paige’s return on RAW over a photo that was taken days prior to it surfacing online.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Mahal has been wearing Kinesio Tape at WWE Live Events but not on WWE television or pay-per-view events. The belief is WWE doesn’t want fans to see him taped up on television.

WWE producer Jimmy Jacobs is no longer working for WWE, according to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet.

Apparently Jacobs decided to take a photo of himself with The Bullet Club when they showed up to the arena prior to RAW in Ontario, CA a few weeks back. This didn’t go over very well with the higher ups and he received “major heat” for this. It’s very possible that this could have played a role in his departure from the company. WWE reps have yet to comment.
