According to Paddy Power, John Cena is currently the favorite to win the 30-Man Royal Rumble match at next month’s Royal Rumble event.

Cena’s odds are currently at 9/4. Roman Reigns is the running up with a 5/2 odd, with Nakamura being the third favorite at 11/4.

Cena already has two Royal Rumble wins under his belt. If he was to win again, he would tie “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s record for most wins, which is at three.

Stephanie McMahon returned on tonight’s episode of RAW and announced the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match for next month’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Stephanie didn’t elaborate exactly how many participants will compete in the match, but many are speculating that it will be 20 women.

Dave Meltzer indicated in the latest installment of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the following matches will probably take place at the upcoming Royal Rumble event:

* Kane vs. Braun Strowman
* Intercontinental Championship: Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe

Brock Lesnar is slated to be at the event in some capacity but he may not be defending the WWE Universal Championship.

In regards to a Women’s Royal Rumble match, no one within the company is currently talking about it.
