While appearing at last week’s RINGSIDE: An evening with Jim Ross, Paul Heyman delivered a beautiful speech about Ross and his late wife, Jan. Heyman put over Ross’ strength to be able to call the WrestleMania 33 match between Roman Reigns and The Undertaker just days after his wife’s passing. The crowd in attendance gave Ross a standing ovation on multiple occasions.

For those that don’t recall, Ross lost his wife this past March after getting hit by a car while riding her Vespa late at night near their home in Oklahoma.

John Cena (who will return on the July 4th SmackDown), recently spoke to The Wrap on a number of subjects, the most notable being his rep for “burying” younger talent.

I just believe you bring your best to every story and you bring your best to every fight. And if my skills aren’t as good, then it’s time to step back. It’s just a matter of believing in myself and going out there and speaking from the heart. I believe that sometimes that’s something missing in some of the WWE storylines … being honest and brave enough to put everything out there on the table. … This is why I have the reputation of quote-unquote ‘burying younger talent,’ because I will let them do whatever they want with me — and then after they get done, they’re not as motivated,” Cena remarked. “So, it’s not that I sink their ship, it’s that they fail to operate at an elite level. And I’m on to the next person, [to] whom I say, “Hey man, bring your best punch and I’m gonna punch back” — and they don’t take that attitude beyond me.”

He also spoke on angle with The Miz, leading to the match at WrestleMania.

“I take that approach to everyone. The Miz story couldn’t be a better example of that, because when that story started … no one wanted to see that match. No one. I made it a point to have everyone work as hard as they could to change everyone’s mind. And now here you are, months after the fact, saying that was one of the most entertaining things done on television,” Cena continued. “That just goes to show you that it’s all just about how much you’re willing to invest and how strongly you believe in what you want to do.”

Another main eventer who recently had something to say is Seth Rollins. Interestingly, the subject was sharing a ring with The Undertaker. Here is what Rollins told Bandwagon.asia.

“Yeah, I got into step into the ring with the Undertaker one time before he retired – it was a six-man tag match on Monday Night RAW in London. It was one of those nights I didn’t really get to fully grasp what we were doing. We had a show earlier in the day in Cardiff, Wales – and we took a helicopter to London! I had to basically get right into the ring and have a second match within a few hours. It was against Undertaker, Daniel Bryan and Kane though – so it was a tremendous experience. I remember looking across the ring at one point, locking eyes with a dead man – someone who’s an absolute legend, first ballot Hall-Of-Famer, one of the most incredible performers in the history of our industry. To share a ring with him is very surreal, especially considering our age difference. At some point, you’d consider that he’d be retired before you’d get the chance to be in the ring with him, but that’s just a testament to how he took care of himself and how physically forward-thinking he was in keeping himself healthy that late in his career.”

After their outstanding segment this week on RAW, Paul Heyman and Samoa Joe kept up their “feud” on Twitter.

Next week, Brock Lesnar is set to make his first appearance on RAW since the day after WrestleMania. We will likely see him and Joe face to face, in the same ring, for the first time ever.

‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar will not be appearing at WWE Fastlane pay-per-view. Although Brock is booked for nearly every episode of WWE RAW going into WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, he will not be present at the pay-per-view event on March 5, 2017 according to latest news and rumors.

This week on Monday Night RAW, Lesnar made an appearance and left a lasting impact in the minds of the fans across the globe. Twas’ pure destruction and devastation as a ”pier-six-brawl” broke out in the ring among ‘The Big Dog’ Roman Reigns, ‘The Man’ Seth Rollins, ‘The Underdog from the Underground’ Sami Zayn, ‘Monster among Men’ Braun Strowman, ‘Mr Wrestling’ Kevin Owens and ‘Y2J’ Chris Jericho!

Brock Lesnar entered the fray, cleared the WWE squared circle, asserted his dominance and sent a message across to everyone (especially Goldberg) on the roster that he’s coming to the Alamodome to win the Rumble.

The main reason for Brock’s absence from Fastlane could be attributed to the fact that WWE want ‘The Icon’ Bill Goldberg to be the center of attention for this pay-per-view.

Goldberg is, as per rumors, scheduled for a match at Fastlane, and that will most certainly be the main attraction of the event.

On the Road to WrestleMania 33, however, Brock Lesnar will appear on almost every episode of Monday Night RAW barring the February 13th edition in Nevada.

Goldberg and Lesnar are set to collide at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas when they enter the Royal Rumble match.

Then, Goldberg showed up on Raw. Via Backstage Reports, it was confirmed that he signed on to compete at more than just Survivor Series. He revealed that he would be appearing in the 30-man Royal Rumble match.

Then, ‘The Advocate’ Paul Heyman publicly said that ‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar will compete in the Rumble match as well. A latest report by ‘Ringside News’ highlights the details about Goldberg’s future.

“Regarding how many dates Goldberg signed for, we have been informed that he has signed for thirteen appearances with the company heading into WrestleMania season. Those appearances include three matches as well – one being the Rumble Battle Royal and a rematch against Brock Lesnar that is rumored for WrestleMania 33.”

It’s very interesting to see how Goldberg’s schedule takes shape leading up to the Royal Rumble. He will, without a shadow of a doubt, appear on Monday Night RAW (at least once) and promote the event.
