Jason Jordan has posted another video to social media accepting Roman Reigns’ “Open Challenge” for the Intercontinental Championship for tonight’s RAW. The match was teased last week but the company decided on going with Reigns vs. Elias instead.

In the video, Jordan mentions how Reigns and Elias had a tough match but also pointed out that be defeated Elias too. Jordan would then go on to issue the challenge.

“So this week why don’t you put that title on the line against me and we’ll find out who’s yard it really is,” said Jordan.

As previously noted, Kurt Angle is slated to make his “big announcement” on tonight’s episode of RAW. Bryan Alvarez mentioned on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Live that Angle’s announcement will close tonight’s show.

The #1 contendership match between Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns is expected to take place at the top of the second hour and Dean Ambrose addressing The Miz is scheduled to open the show. We will keep you updated if we hear any other notes heading into tonight’s show.

WWE has announced that Brock Lesnar calling out Samoa Joe will open tonight’s episode of RAW. Here is what they wrote on their preview for the event:

Will Brock Lesnar bring the pain to Samoa Joe?

You should never intentionally provoke Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, and you definitely shouldn’t put your hands on his advocate, Paul Heyman. And yet, Samoa Joe accomplished both of those feats last Monday night on Raw when, in a difficult-to-watch show of force, he viciously locked Heyman in the Coquina Clutch.

The Samoan Submission Machine’s message was received by the Universal Champion, who will respond to his No. 1 contender’s sadistic attack tonight when Raw goes on the air at 8/7 C on USA Network. The juggernauts’ Universal Title clash at the debut WWE Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view event is still weeks away, but someone’s going to get burned tonight. Will it be Joe or Lesnar?

WWE announced that Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns will open tonight’s episode of RAW.

Also confirmed for tonight’s show, The Miz will be celebrating his Intercontinental Championship win after beating Dean Ambrose for the championship at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view event.
